Do you think future Star Wars games will take notes from The Mandalorian?

It would be so much better as a game. Over half of it is literally side quests, why am I watching it and not playing it?

She was alright. Her makeup felt like cosplay instead of high level tv/movie makeup. The lightsaber combat felt really floaty and slow. So I'd give it a 6/10. Not bad but could be better.

If we get a new Bounty Hunter I hope its either a create your character situation OR we play as Beilert Valance instead of Mando.

I enjoyed it but her head tentacles could have been done better.

In terms of drawing influence from a specific past genre? Sure. Original star wars was drawn from inspiration from the way older scifi pulp fiction genre. Mandolorian definitely has dna from westerns.
Still hoping for an antihero whose allegiance was for the empire, a flawed ex officer or trooper who still holds “authoritarian” views but is ultimately a good person deep down, but that’s not going to fly in today’s hyper woke world.

I don't get the whole beskar staff thing. What was keeping Ahsoka from just sliding down one of the lightsabers and chopping off the magister's fingers every time they clashed? Her hand was so close to the saber in so many of those clashes.

Presumably because of the $133 million budget and, whatever you want to say about George, he's an experienced director. I don't know what The Mandalorian's budget is, but there's no way it's anywhere near that much for any given episode.

Hard to say whether it was intentional or not, but I got the same vibe. The episode was written and directed by Filoni himself and he's clearly still learning how to do live action, though it seems like he's learning.

Well, the reason that doesn't happen in lightsaber duels is because the sabers "stick" to each other on contact to some degree and can't really slide around against each other. Maybe lightsabers get "stuck" on beskar on the same way?
