Unfortunately the sequel had questionable and obtuse choices regarding the series direction, it managed to kill a potential franchise in a time where Konami still cared about video games.

Played the hell out of the 360 version. Loved the characters and the sex appeal, fun wrestling too.
The artist for the series was something else. He was paralyzed from the neck down and literally drew with a stick in his mouth, it was insane. Sadly, he passed away.

I hear the developer, Yukes, still makes wrestling games to this day for WWE, and sneak in the parts in the character creator to make their old Rumble Roses characters.

Yuke's isn't making WWE games anymore. They got tired of having to pump out a new game every year with the WWE's restrictions on them.
They're making a game for AEW now, and even got the director of No Mercy to head up the project. I'm looking forward to it.
But yeah, you can make pretty accurate Roses in the modern WWE titles. One of the few upsides to those games.
