The game is completely unenjoyable regardless of DLC.

>playing shitty dark souls ripoff

True Souls fans don't play N*oh

why retards like this @534013409 always come just to shit post

I know, right? The stamina recovery after swinging mechanic is so fucking retarded, and it's shoehorned into almost every trait and every game mechanic. Having to press two buttons instead of one for each and every attack (or combo) you make is really fucking stupid. Imagine having to t-y-p-e a h-y-p-h-e-n i-n b-e-t-w-e-e-n e-v-e-r-y l-e-t-t-e-r t-h-a-t y-o-u w-r-i-t-e. It's totally tedious and serves no point whatsoever, neither in gameplay nor in game design. The fact that so much of the core combat is based off of this shitty mechanic made it completely unenjoyable for me. And that's coming from someone who beat Sekiro, so rhythm was definitely not the issue.

I'm currently finishing the dlc of Nioh 2 and I'm having a blast, sounds to me like you got filtered hard

No, the DLC is a retarded difficulty spike for autists who grind for 200 hours.

>He doesn't care about his fellow anons
>He doesn't want to keep his fellows anons from wasting their time and money from an objectively bad game

>he cant even grasp the basic gameplay even after 200 hours
there is no hope for you son.

Speak for yourself retard, the game is great, also I couldn't give less of a fuck what faggots on this site spend their money on

Based, same for me, Nioh 2 is the most fun I've had playing a ps4 exclusive since bloodborne

Friendly reminder that the Zig Forums that shits on Nioh is the same one that defends Senran Kagura to the death so you shouldn't take their opinions about what makes a game "good" or "bad" seriously.

>filtered

i don't know

>tfw I enjoy both Nioh and Senran Kagura
Feels good to enjoy video games.

the problem for me is trying a new game, not as fast as nioh 2, go back to nioh 2

nioh 1 imo never gets good, you'll have a much better time with nioh 2.

Get the Definitive Version which comes with all the DLC. PC version also comes with all DLC.

I'm gonna be honest bros... The second boss filtered me hard, uninstalled 6 months ago.
Going after that booty again in december though, is this gameplay playable with keyboard and mouse? I don't really have a controller anymore.

its doable, but not preferred.

I've played both versions on disc, US no update and HK+DLC
Odachi is pretty fun but IMO the DLC missions and fights added almost nothing to the game, and kind of felt like an afterthought/result of unexpected success. Personally I didn't enjoy the extra content but YMMV.

Can we all agree that the people seething over these games are just retards that got filtered? They're great games and I'm glad that you're giving them another chance

I like challenging games, the gameplay on Nioh is nice, game is kind of a bitch sometimes but I liked it. Hyped for the 2nd game coming to PC, gonna try to finish the first one before february.

I found that if I got out of the Souls mindset with it the fights became a lot easier. Of course, early game you don't really have much option than to go in souls style as you don't yet have your magic or ninja skills.

One thing I like to do in particularly hard fights is to save the spirit transforms as a clutch for when I'm on low health.

I really hope so, nioh 2 is miles better than nioh but they go hand to hand, specially after certain mission

>Hyped for the 2nd game coming to PC
I liked it better than the first one, and the dlc has some of the best bosses in the series, the Yoshitsune fight is fucking wild, I hope you have a great time with it user

Am I just autistic or are there any other people interested in the wider lore of this setting
Like, Onmyodo and Enochian magic co-exist as well as there being non-Japanese guardian spirits, so I'm wondering if there's also shit like multiple different afterlives
Since the Shinto underworld seems to explictly exist and even Izanami herself, and yet there's Mezuki and Gozuki who are supposed to be guardians of Buddhist/Chinese Hell

drop the game at the pier water boss because it had move that one shotted me even when guarding with high hp build and heavy armor build
is it even possible to make a tank like character progressing through nioh?
I know you can take projectiles to the face and not take any damage late game if you have the right set up but early game felt like complete trash going tanky and trying to hyperarmor through stuff
Im tempted to give the game another go but it seems my type of playstyle really got the short end of the stick when its comparing it to dex/ninja tool builds and magic builds
