What is Zig Forums's monitor of choice?
For me it's the AOC 24G2
my $99 1080p Dell monitor Ive been using for a few years
imagining the gameplay with no monitor
Been using Asus 1080p 60hz for five years now
Now that I want to upgrade to higher end, (Ryzen 5, 3070), I feel like I should ramp up to 1440p 120hz
crt
I just want 16:10 to return.
VG248QE
Sometimes on dark screen i have a blue pixel, should i refund ?
dell ultrasharp
$100 IPS monitor by LG. Great colors, no ghosting, 1080p and 24 inches.
my 32 inch tv for my switch
Got this one in a sale years ago, will keep it until it dies.
A 4K Samsung Monitor
recommend me a 244hz monitor to buy please
AOC C24G1 Checking in
This one but the U version with built-in USB hub.
Any monitor which is 1440p, 144hz and IPS.
I game on a 4K 55" 100hz OLED piece of beauty.
I got a classic AOC G2590FX in my room for everything multiplayer.
tell me truth Zig Forums
is 1440p/120hz a meme? I'm using a 1080p/60hz monitor and i'll need to get a new one if i'll ever get a 3070
Anything above 144hz is a scam and even 144hz is a meme tier that's useless to you unless you want to either spend big bux on a new GPU every year or you only want to use it for esports/old shit.
PG259QN for eSports
some random 1440p 144hz+ for regular gaming
who gives a fuck about casuals.
i have a 144hz one already but it's old
It's a stopgap resolution that will most likely never pick up. Jumping to 4K makes much more sence.
Refer to Unless you want to spend tons of money on enthusiast graphics cards every year, don't.
>new gpu every year for esports
Are you high? You can play those shitty games above 100hz on a 1060/580
>most likely never pick up
?? Are you okay? Games run fine at 1080p and nearly every game works fine with 4k too, unless it's some old RTS shit.
>tfw bought AOC 27G2U/BK
am i screwed?
Yes, retard. That's the point. You either have to spend tons of cash on a new card every year to keep up with AAA or you only use it for old shit/esports garbage, are you okay??
either of these
>LG 27GL850-B
>LG 27GL83A-B
Twin Asus PG278Q 2560x1440p.Monitors
They've served me very well for several years now, but I'm excited to switch to 4k in a couple years when there are more options for monitors and I can actually find a fucking 3080 somewhere
LG 34GN850-B for video games and a 65CX for movies and shit.
Bought LG 27GL850-B yesterday, but still no new GPU.
So I have to Just Wait.
the difference between the two are 850-B probably has better QA and an extra port or two
lucky im still stuck with a 10 year old TN panel
1440p 144hz is more taxing on a GPU than 4K60.
Even so, 1440p 144hz is the sweet spot. I'm a 1080p 144hz fag myself.
Yes 1440p is a stopgap resolution, that's the point. Cards today are made for 4K, it will still be true tomorrow. A 4K screen is much more worth it and their prices shall go down in the years to come.
PLEASE brothers.
>4k
>27~ inches
>4k
>27~ inches
I wish that were me
I got a cheap 1080p 144hz monitor and it works great with my 1650 super. I think it cost around 180$
>It's a stopgap resolution that will most likely never pick up
I've had it for like 4 years now. I wouldn't exactly call it a stopgap considering how long it has taken for 4k to become feasible. Even with a 3090 you aren't gonna get over 100 frames on some games. Not to mention shit monitor diversity
There is literally 1 ( ONE ) 4k monitor worth buying 27GN950, 4k is not even close on PC.
>lucky im still stuck with a 10 year old TN panel
I switched from almost 9 year old LG IPS, still not as bad as old as TN.
