Not to mention that refusing the machine gun makes the midgame really tedious and by the time you do get the best weapon, the game is practically over.

Nicalis is only DMCA'ing github pages regarding projects that decompile the original game to allow for mods and such.

Only thing is I don't know if Nicalis owns the actual 'original' release of the game that those projects are built for.

NXEngine cannot compare, that's how. I've literally always had problems with NX on Windows, it had terrible screen breaking, shit itself upon alt-tabbing, etc. CSE2 has none of those problems. It literally just works.
