Did anyone else find the Majima+Saejima boss fight to be an incredibly abrubt difficulty spike? Even after clearing out the entire Sotenbori battle arena I can't beat them because they do absurd amounts of damage.

You should definitely be able to beat them at this point. Maybe take a look at your equipment and think what jobs would work best. Probably the ones you've leveled most but if you have multiple jobs near each others level maybe emphasize high defense or agility. An attack debuff can cut their attack by around 30%, other buffs/debuffs aren't much use. Using Ichi's and Adachi's skills that let them survive a fatal attack can give you some wiggle room.
