Is BOTW worth playing?
Is BOTW worth playing?
not really. wait for fenyx rising. it seems to be somewhat similar in artstyle but is actual game with content and no shitty breaking weapons
Play it with mods. You'll have a more fun time.
I looked at gameplay footage of that game and it seems like it harbors a combat system that is very much detached from BotW.
Mainly, the range of movement a character has is much greater in the game you have posted, which feels way too "MMORPG"-esque. The enemy's attacks also seem kinda sporadic and don't really have any weight to them.
BotW's enemy's attacks are simple, but also very impactful.
Sometimes more is less.
>ubisoft
this has to be bait
Are there mods that let femboi link get fucked by futa gerudos yet?
Don't listen to this fucking retard.
Breath of the Wild is a great game and well worth your time. It's probably the best open world game right now.
Yeah it's one of the best 3D Zeldas.
Well it's probably the best open world sandbox. As an overall game I have a hard time putting it above Morrowind or Xenoblade X or TW3. But I mean that's pretty good company to be with anyway.
>Sometimes more is less.
your brain on nintendo
it's an all you can eat buffet for around 30-40 hours but then you'll be full, but that's a tremendous amount of game eh
It's okay but you might as well just play genshin impact instead, the superior game.
I have tried playing three times already and I drop it because of how boring and empty it all feels. Combat is serviceable, art and design look barren.
This.
ubishit's game looks like it has actual stuff to do besides messing with physics like a tech demo from the 00s
Shame it has an ugly art style
I liked it. Get it on sale if you want it.
If you want an open-world exploration game with some nice environments and passable combat, sure.
Yes it is
I am tempted to buy a switch for it. Worth it?
Honestly yeah, I enjoyed it for the most part.
it's a comfy game
looks fine to me.
Yes. Be sure to get the DLC.
you can't be serious
No, emulate it on CEMU instead for free. Genshin Impact isn't on Switch so there's no point buying that console.
It's a great game, but don't try to do everything because you will burn out.
Maybe but I honestly hated BotW. It's way of durability just annoyed the hell out of me. I get the idea of it but it doesn't make it fun for me.
I'm quite interested in picking this up despite being from Ubishit. I looked up some comparison and the Switch version doesn't look that much different from the other platforms, aside of course from some texture quality and draw distance. It also had some pink filter which kinda works and adds some flare compared to the generic colors in better hardware.
It’s peak sovl
CEMU plays it better. You can also play most of the switch games on pc already.
I played it on cemu with durability disabled
the combat was still shit and I avoided it altogether as much as possible
I can deal with shit combat honestly. Since I enjoyed the rest of the game. Exploring the world, climbing, shines, ect. felt great personally. But dealing with what felt like every few minutes "Weapon about to break!" and I just had it with it.
Is hating on durability just a meme? I swear I never had problems with it.
It's pure tedium to me
>Fight an enemy
>"Weapon about to break"
>throw weapon
>cycle to another weapon
over and over again. I just it annoying than outright bad but since it's a constant thing in the game it just build up to something that just frustrated me than ignored like others.
do you like video games? then no
do you like having literally anything that allows you to push buttons? go for it.
