SeX for third-person, kb+m for fps

xbone for third person / golf
ds4 or sn30 pro+ for platformers
kb+m for fps and rts/rtwp/turn based

Not this fucking thread again

They’re both good. It literally doesn’t matter.

The SeX controller is so awesome. It has the best dpad since the Vita. Why do controller designers keep making these shitty mushy dpads when the clicky ones seen on the Vita and SeX controllers are really good?

No, the most important part of a controller is the dpad, and the DS5's dpad didn't improve on the DS4.

This one

Problem with xbox is its hard to use the dpad as the primary input which rules out a lot of the best games of all time. Same with wii u and switch pro controller.
Thus, ps5 controller is good. If the 8bitdo have good dpads then I would get one but I heard they are bad.

The d-pad that the overwhelmingly majority of fighting game players already use?

They’re both good. Neither controller will limit you. Stop being a faggot.

>Buy a chinese ps2 controller rip off from amazon with a lot of 5 stars review
>Leave a bad reviews with 1 star rating
>Seller contact you telling to change the review for a refound

360, either wired or not
I have three new ones and two in use

KB+M for FPS, RTS and some games like RE2 remake.
Dualshock for fighting games
Xbox for everything else.

>worst of all worlds

I'm using an Xbox One wired controller currently. The A button is start to fuck up so i might get a series x controller in a few months

Found the virgin

Xone for most games
DS4 for RPCS3
Switch Pro for Yuzu/CEMU
Arcade stick for fighting games
What's a good golf game on PC?

360 controller for games that use stick for movement
PS4 for games that use d-pad for movement
arcade stick for fighting games

>The d-pad that the overwhelmingly majority of fighting game players already use?
The DS4's dpad is god awful, and most people know this. Mushy and can easily hit a diagonal by accident, so yes it does limit people. Battle Beaver Customs even has a mod to get rid of the mushy dpad from the DS4/5, but the dpad should have been mechanical to begin with because Sony got it right with the Vita.

>Dualshock for fighting games
took the pill and start playing fg with the keyboard, you are simply missing out too much

I loved the 360 controller but after 10 years it died and I can't find it for sale anymore so I'm just using my DS4. Thought about buying the xbox one but using AA batteries in 2020 sounds out of this world. I haven't used those in almost 15 years.

Just because you say it doesn’t make it true. DS4 is completely dominant in fighting games. It’s a great d-pad.

DS3

kb+m for strategy and fps and anything else that requires precise aim or a lot of keys
xbone for third person action games and racing games (i dont own a racing wheel)
arcade stick for fighting games and platformers and any 2d game that doesnt require two sticks or analog control

ENTER

>DS4 is completely dominant in fighting games.
Because it's popular, comes with the PS4, and most people don't want to buy another controller for one or two games. Hitting accidental diagonals is a common complaint with the DS4.
>It’s a great d-pad
No, it's a shit dpad. Sony should have made it like the Vita or Series X dpad.

reddit.com/r/xbox/comments/jrok8d/psa_xbox_series_x_controllers_still_have_faulty_a/ Is this true or FUD?

I have wireless xbox one controller.
Just buy a gigantic pack at walmart or something. The battery life is actually worth the bullshit and you never will have to charge it while you're playing.
If you liked the 360 the one's controller is a big improvement imo.

Just bought a ps5 controller to give it a test. Absolutely hate how DS4 used micro usb

If I buy the Series X controller (wireless with AA batteries) how do I use it on PC?
Where do I find the receiver for the wireless signal?

This.

>Where do I find the receiver for the wireless signal?
a bluetooth dongle is like 10 bucks

Have always had de syncing issues with those

I'm amazed stores even sell those anymore. I remember using those on my gameboy in like 2003.

I use this for Iceborne and every emulator

Never had a problem with DS4's dpad. It's perfect in my eyes.

do you mean like blocking the signal and thus the response is slower or they disconnect fully?
Because I have the first issue when I sit weirdly and block my ds3 and steam pads with my leg.
