why the fuck do you have so many batteries, you only need 2 for most of the tasks. and your defense is shit, make a killbox

batterylet

Been playing some Factorio lately.
It turns out you should make a landing pad before you bring your entire cargo rocket to a new planet.

Mods are Space exploration and Krastorio 2.

I am too stupid to play this game.

>make a killbox
>needs a kill box to survive in this game.

what do you have trouble with?

I keep having wild fires, any advice on dealing with them?

>he didn't build 9 batteries for his base
noob spotted

I'm been playing Amazing Cultivation Simulator recently. It's shit despite all the shilling claiming the game is so much better than DF or RimWorld.

As usual with these types of games the ending is worthless.

Very aesthetic base op, nice.
The power supply seems quite fragile though, my autism can’t cope.

Factorio is a learning game. Learning layout and optimization is the meat and potatoes of the game. Brainlets love to copy layouts and complain about the game.

why are you playing a game ypu think is shit?

Killboxes are for faggots. Build a parameter and man it you fucking sissy

yeah, I'm adding some windmills. I had to send a caravan to go get some components.

I would, but Tiberium hasnt updated.

So I can properly demolish Chang whenever he comes around to shill his shit game. Boredom as well.

>what do you have trouble with?
at some point there's so much shit going on in my factory I can't understand what's going on at all (usually when I need to produce blue science). I've tried using blueprints fron vtubers but it make the game unenjoyable for me, cuz I want to figure out how to make things all by myself and so I've dropped them completely.
>I keep having wild fires, any advice on dealing with them?
If I have lots of spare citizens I'll try to put a homezone around a wildfire closest to my base and take it out quickly. Stone walls around the entire base is the best way to go early game (i.e. simply ignoring wildfires) but later on it's better to take them out manually, since the outside space has lots of resources (wood, healroot, animals). Another reason early on in the game to put a wall behind all your crops so that it wouldn't burn.

I like Oxygen Not Included
On my current Oxygen Not Included I finally found some fucking water on my map, after living in horrible drought for aaaaaages, so that's nice.
Also stone hatches are the best food.

>play Rimworld
>turn off psychic ships and infestations
>get mod to turn off sappers
>build killbox stuffed with turrets
>just have colonists get high and make dusters and statues all day
I just want them to be happy...

There's no need for blueprints if you can wrap your head around the ratios. I recommend using a calculator like kirkmcdonald.github.io so you can quickly figure out exactly how many of each building you will want/need.

Just enter in the amount of assemblers you want making X item and it will automatically give you the ratios required. 5x blue science in basic assemblers would require roughly 4 assemblers of red circuits for example.

Or if you want an in game tool try out the MaxRateCalculator mod that allows you to click and drag a square around your buildings to find out exactly what they're input/output is.

The other option is just saying fuck it and doing pic related. I always say I'm going to make a main bus and it always turns into a spaghetti nightmare eventually. Now that I have my item mall and robots going I can rebuild my main factory and start making customized blueprints for the modded playthrough I'm doing.

bump

any advice on how to get rid of this bullshit?

wait for the caravan to arrive. Don't fight those shits solo.

I can't find a base building game that appeals to me.
I've already played Rimworld a bunch and don't want it anymore, and I'm not uhh gifted enough to understand wtf is going on in Dwarf Fortress at least until they add graphics.
Prison Architect is top boring
I don't like Rollercoasters enough to be a Tycoon...

what's good?

>killbox
>not just maintaining a permanently low wealth level so your only raiders are Grugs with sticks and rocks.

> I'm not uhh gifted enough to understand wtf is going on in Dwarf Fortress at least until they add graphics
use a tileset, bro. you can dl them easily online.

the Starcraft 1 type sprite graphics are so sexy man

Does project Zomboid have decent base building?

Anyone played Amazing Cultivation Simulator? Is it fun?

see

>not having at least 2 sets of 3 or so batteries in different places and preferably one set of charged batteries disconnected with a switch for emergencies and a few deconstructed FULL batteries stockpiled to maintain power even if something happens

Not really. You can technically build a "base" but it's not much more than a box you keep your things in. There might be more systems put in place now like electricity(maybe) but typically it's just a room with an oven for warmth and a large fence that goes around your safe zone.

This.

Dwarf fortress only looks like the matrix if you're too lazy to download a tileset. Use Dwarf Therapist for job management and you're good to go.

>he doesn't know

how tf do u keep your wealth low when the traders come by so rarely?

What makes it shit? The premise sounds pretty fun.

>Rimworld-style graphics
gross
