How do they justify taking 8 years to pump out a game when Forza managed to release 6 games (2 of which are GOAT racing games) in the meantime? Are they getting high off their own farts?

Microsoft makes absolutely no games other than Gears, Halo and Forza, so that's expected they had the time to make a lot of Forza.
Has this franchise even been that good lately? I stopped after getting GT5 on PS3. Might jump ship to Forza, idk
GTS came out 3 years ago
Mcdonalds can also whip up a burger in like two minutes, but will it be better than a 5-course dish at a classy Italian restaurant that you have to book a week in advance?
Gran Turismo 7 Prologue doesn't count user
These games will continue to be garbage as long as they dont embrace the "start with a beater and work your way up" that the series is famous for. Forza is too supercar focused so it was never interested to me. The best part of these is having a beater, upgrading it, going up the ranks, finally affording a new car, etc. GTS was missing this. So is Forza. Hope GT fixes it.
>>>>lately
If McDonald's iterated on enough burgers to get to the level of an Italian meal in the same timespan that the Italian was jacking off into his pan, yeah.
Kaz (the studio head) would have been fired years ago but he's way too close to Sony's upper management in Japan.
instagram normalfags don't want that, they want supercars as soon as possible, and thats the majority audience for these kind of games now that car culture is dying with zoomers
sure, but that's outside of realm of possibility
They are too busy being Mitsubishi's tech department
>Are they getting high off their own farts?
Dude, they still use "the (((real))) driving (((simulator)))" slogan LOL
At least Forza will never overtake them in the music department

Clearly Forza is for you then retard. You don't want a polished game but a yearly released car version of FIFA.
you sure?
GT Sport has one of the most generic soundtracks i ever heard, there's like two songs i can remember despite spending around 200h ingame
Yes when it comes to the food analogy, but a lot of catching up can happen when you sit on your laurels for an entire console generation.
>How do they justify
Yakuza money and Kaz racing autism. I doubt GT will be better than Forza. Maybe more people work on Forza and they outsource more.
gt sport is probably the best not-iracing game in the market if you're going strictly for online track races
>yearly
FM7 is 3 years old now
>gran turismo
>polished
not a mainline gt game
all i can say is that i enjoyed GT:Sport more than recent Forzas, which i played on PC, and GT7 is shaping up to be excellent
You will never, ever be a woman.
It isn't a main game but to compare it to Prologue isn't right, either. The whole point was to have the game be laser-focused on online racing rather than single-player car collecting.
Nothing will compare to GT3 andGT4. Too focused on online gaming

As if Hypercars comes out like fucking burgers, each game of Gran Turismo has research to be made, from historic findings, to exotic and "fantasy" car thing that Forza has failed to do so. Yea they can have totally wastable vehicles and some gimmicks but in the Simulator department has too much to learn.
In the case of GT the problem itself is SNOY, since SNOY JP walked the plank to commieland Poliphony had a huge vacation because SNOY of america is a bunch of retarded pansies that doesn't understand how the fuucking market works.
Yamauchi is the Kojima of racing.
GT peaked at 3.
GT2 was higher than GT1, and GT3 was higher than GT2. GT4 was a slight step down from GT3. GT5 was a total failure.
To keep away from food analogies and to use an athletic analogy, say you have GT racing Forza in a footrace. Forza timed the start poorly and fell behind GT by a good distance. GT was accelerating perfectly until it hit full stride with GT3. Then it started getting tired, therefore losing a bit of speed, but maintained correct form with GT4. Then it tripped, tumbled onto the track, and had to pick itself back up. GT6 would be the correction, but now it needs to get back up to speed. GT Sport is the acceleration phase again.
Meanwhile, Forza has hit full stride and is now in the tiring phase. And FH is Usain Bolt compared to both.
explain how isnt gt sport polished
>tfw GT7 will have worse online than Sport now that all the Forzafags are paying attention
>strictly for online track races
who even wants that though?
Kojima's "misses" still go through the upright. Yamauchi's biggest miss didn't make it 10 yards.
It isn’t so that the Gran Turismo Team isn’t doing anything else than sniffing gasoline and fresh Porsche cars...
Motorsport isn't even the face of the Forza series, anymore. When people talk about Forza, they're talking about Horizon. Gran Turismo held its core of being about simulation. They're not even competing with each other at this point.
This desu.
I honest do wish they'd embrace their career/used car system from number 1 and 2. Sport is fine but its singleplayer is clearly just a last minute thought.
the soundtrack for gt sport is garbage, half the songs are just old tracks and the other half are either the most forgettable engrish songs ever or the cheapest to license indie rock they could find
a lot of motorsport fags
every single simcade gets nurburgring and spa for a reason
>who even wants that though?
if you're playing a good simulator it should be the entire point of the game, sliding epic jdm cars all day and paying no attention to laptimes has it's own game and it's called forza
I miss him bros...
I just want a simulation game where I can work my way up with a crappy Miata and then buy a Super Car after saving up money. Why don't racing games do this anymore? Is it just the new generation of kids to blame who just want instant gratification? If I get an awesome super car within 10 minutes, then what is the point? Where is the thrill? It feels like I am done with the game already.
iracing does this and you start in a miata but prepare to buy cars with real money instead of ingame currency
you get to do that in forza horizon 1 but it isnt a sim
insanely fun game however
As someone who last played a GT5 while it was out, is it worth getting GT7?
