Not trash if you have a decent gaming rig. I play Mario Odessy, Pokemon Sword and shield, and Zelda Link to the Past without much issue.

I'd say hold off on emulating until 5 years or so for newer games, emulating it will just have you be a play tester, even if it runs mostly fine your experience will be slightly dampened because they game will probably not be ran in the way its supposed to be. I'm not against emulating it for moral reasons though because nintendo deserves to lose money for the joycon drift

so far I played:
80% Botw
100% Link's Awakening
30% Mario Odyssey

i7 6700k
GTX 1080 ti
16gb ram

I rate my experience 7.5/10.

i have

Ryzen 5 2600
GTX 1060
16gb ram

Is my rig fine for emulation?

I think it's impressive, I could play Diablo 3 with a 6 year old CPU and a 1050, though keletons did make me lag like a bitch. I should try more games and see how it goes.

I'm playing BoTW on cemu did I fuck up not doing the switch version?

No BoTW on Cemu is much more stable and through the shaders and Mods looks actually better than the base switch version and runs at a higher fps.

just buy the switch you poorfag and remember to choose her route.

yes, it's cemu tier garbage that focuses on trying to get 1 game working to the detriment of proper emulation to get more patreon bucks

Dude it's a fucking fisher price toy tablet from 2011, you can emulate it on a toaster.

>this retard that doesn't understand what emulation is
i bet you think you can emulate it on a 750ti too because it's a stronger gpu than what the switch has
fucking moron

Get a job you bum

ryujinx is better in every single way, which is sad considering they get funded tens of thousands of dollars

i do have a job, but i don't want to spend money unnecessarily

>joycon drift
you mean the issue that can be fixed 99% of the time by cleaning the joycon connector with a q-tip?

It's getting really good now, I can actually play Odyssey without too many hiccups on my AMD gpu with Vulkan.

It isn't sad because Ryujinx wouldn be as jewish like Yuzu if they had 10k a month. They can focus on finishing their fucking emulator and not lock builds behind paywall garbage.
>tfw Yuzu has the audacity of charging multiplayer servers from a service they fucking own so they can get more money
Patreon is both a curse and a blessing (mostly curse from what I've seen).

You can get patreon build anyway if you know where too luck. But yeah, Yuzu is jewish, tought it makes sense since it appeals to nu nintendo fans which have cash to burn waiting for the next Nintendu game

I've used it with very little problems. It runs fairly well
>i7
>16GB RAM
>GTX 970
If my computer can handle it you should be fine.
I actually had a worse time running Ryujinx but I haven't tried it in a while now so maybe it's gotten better.

Yuzu can't play cutscenes. So yeah it wont be a good experience unless you're an autist who just wants to play the battles and ignores the story altogether

I can't wait to play next year's Switch games on it. Switch will finally have games I want to play by, then. NHM3, SMTV, MH Rise (PC port kinda invalidates it, but oh well), BotW2...?

I haven't used Yuzu yet. But I can only imagine it getting better by the time these games roll around.

In the mean time, I'm playing Tropical Freeze on Cemu, really good game. Then I might try 3D World afterwards. Maaaybe I'll try Animal Crossing on Yuzu.

Actually it might work indeed, since Yuzu relies way harder on the CPU rather than the GPU (even though on isolated cases it can make a difference).

>I haven't used Yuzu yet. But I can only imagine it getting better by the time these games roll around.

People have been saying this for a long time. The thing is that the yuzu devs are never going to actually make a good emulator because then the pay pigs who support them will stop giving them money

Only an autist would care about the cringe story.

Nigga, its High Level Emulation, its not emulating the hardware, its just recompiling the API calls.

emulators take time to develop, what's new?
same thing could be said about Cemu last year, but now I'm playing Tropical Freeze perfectly on it (it was broken merely a year ago)

It's pretty bad but some games run to an extent, especially low budget kusoge which belongs on phones like FE.

Actually with the newer updates fe3h runs fairly well now, you have to use vulkan though because there's still crashes with opengl.
Cutscenes got fixed weeks ago. You obviously need the early access builds

I'm trying to run Xenoblade Definitive at native 1080p, but it doesnt want to seem to do that. Am I retarded or is there no actual way to play the game without resolution scaling on emulator?

How does Nintendo get working emulators so quickly while PlayStation 2 and 3 still don't have decent emulation and not a single Xbox console has one?
Is it because of much weaker hardware or dedicated fanbase?

The Switch uses a well-known Nvidia processor type that most high-end graphics cards are able to greatly outperform. PS2 games are coded a little funny, and PS3 emulation is cocked up due to the PS3's queer hardware design.
