using the 2nd gen XBONE controller, and it's done me no harm except in Death Stranding, the vibration was causing lag issues on my xbox controller, but not on my PS3 controller. I wish the sticks weren't so stiff. It makes precise inputs difficult. I was thinking of getting a dualsense, but there's no guarantee of the triggers' haptic feedback being used on PC games.

There is literally no reason to use any other controller than an Xbone on PC unless for emulation

Just got a blue shock series x controller no complaint s besides that the dpad is close clicky. If you want wireless I recommend the dongle.

>plug and play
>comfortable
>$40
>AA batteries
Best controller for pc right now

>If you want wireless I recommend the dongle.
or a mobo that isn't shit.

I play with the Steam controller because I bought one when they were five bucks.

I don't like it.

>lag issues on my xbox controller
Were you using a bluetooth dongle?

The patricians choice is and always will be the F310.
> Cheap as Fuck
> Survives longer than two Xbox One controllers
> If you are an ape and break it, it's cool, it's 15 bucks
> Light
> No vibration or other unnecessary bullshit
> Turbo button

I use Xbone controller (latest revision) but I knocked a drink over and spilled some soda onto it, now an entire row of buttons (start, X, B) are stiff and sometimes stick when pressed in, I can't play games that use X as an attack button as a result. Fuck man, I just bout this a month ago, how do I open this shit up to clean it, bros???

no

What type of Fisher Price Madcatz strictly Player 2 shit lol

I have a techkey bluetooth adapter I bought for $10. I have a bluetooth capable xbox one controller. I'm trying to remove the device from my pc since (from the last bt adapter i had) but it keeps saying failed to remove. Stuck. Just want to play games wirelessly. Feeling hopeless bros

>Madcatz
say what you want, but their design philosophy had soul.

>It doesn't have turbo
>kills hands
>shit dpad
don't get this

This is onsale right now for $40 on microsoft's store. If you need a controller and don't buy this you're missing out.

No it didn't, it was cheap bullshit you gave a guest or a child that keeps breaking things.

How's the PDP wired Xbox one controller?

wii u pro controller + WiinUSoft

Attached: wiiu.png (715x483, 177.42K)

This is my fave for emulation.

>was a fucking bitch to get it to work
>Always fucked up my system
>right stick gave up
man it can any other controller use it over the Wiiu pro because man pain and suffering awaits

I got one of these recently. I like it overall, but the analog sticks feel slippery and font have much resistance. I also wish the two extra shoulder bumpers were gone; they just get in the way. I'd remove them but it doesnt look like there's a good way to open the controller.

I'm not talking about the build quality, idiot. I'm talking about the design.

I have tried a bunch of controllers on PC... WiiMote, DualShock, GameCube, lesser known third party ones...
Just use a modern Xbox One controller with proper Bluetooth. It is the only controller that works natively.

i picked up the xbox branded one and was pretty impressed.

I use a 360 controller because I'm too lazy to download a program for Playstation controllers.

>xbone is nice and my go to, unmatchable in ergonomics, excellent D-pad and overall feel, but the rumble motor can make a weird noise when it rumbles briefly (maybe i have a defective unit) and the shoulder buttons are unreliable so if any game makes constant use of them i change to...
>Wii U pro: endless battery life, digital triggers can be useful as quick press on any game that's not racing (the vast majority), good Dpad, the only bad thing is that it requires a magic-s adapter or do some fuckery with a bluetooth dongle's drivers but once you have it set it up you pretty much don't need any other control unless you want gyro aiming with steam, in which case i change to
>switch pro controller, great ergonomics overall, battery almost as good as the Wii U pro, Dpad can be spotty if the game requires a lot of precision, I always use it wired on PC to activate the gyro support
>the DS4 can also support gyro and has an excellent Dpad but the left stick position and battery life turns me off completely, i barely use mine just like...
>Steam controller, i got it when it was 5$, and i really dont use it at all, it has a learning curve not everyone is ready to invest time into and the gyro aiming is also great but the face buttons feels off and the whole controller feels cheap as fuck, specially for a controller that was once sold for 50$

>Everyone in this thread using controller wi thout gyro.

How the fuck do you aim? Are you really using analogue sticks to aim? Hahahahahahaha.

Watch this and tell me you aren’t all retarded.

youtube.com/watch?v=ESa_mme7AX0

Hahahahaha.

N64 Controller with Bluetooth adapter.

How do you even do clawing using this?

Switch pro controller is pretty good. Once you get BetterJoyForCemu it's plug and play, plus has gyro and motion controls for emulating. Disgustingly good battery life too. Only downside is bad d-pad, but the Switch SNES controller fills that need for me. That's also plug and play with the same program, and the dpad is perfect

>they went and ruined the dpad again
truly a shame

>How the fuck do you aim?
m+kb, I dont play aiming games with the controller.

>FPS games with controller
>PC
wrong thread consolefag

I tried using this shit for kaizo and it broke in 2 weeks

Buy the new xbox controller. I went from 360 controller to the new one and its amazing.

Why do some games not work with the new Xbox controllers? It's supposed to be regular Xinput
So far Panzer Dragoon Remake and Sonic Generations don't work without Steam controller support turned on

Does DS4 gyro work on PC on non-steam games?

>tfw still using my cheap generic knockoff 360 controller from 2013

install the last (not mandatory) windows update.

>How the fuck do you aim? Are you really using analogue sticks to aim?

Like this. Just DS3

Wireless is better than wired.

I don't like dpads that have diagonals built in rather than a cross-like shape, so I use a Wii U Pro controller with a Magic NS. I'm considering getting either a DS4 or a Switch Pro controller. I'm basically gonna use the one controller for everything, like I am now. The NS allows Xinput and Dinput.

This? It wasn't here earlier today. Weird

nothing beats this

Wish this were updated with the DualSense and SeX controllers.

for any FPS that requires precision i play with M+Kb, no contest
when the game has a lot of inventory/actions and its only value is solo play like RE2R or vanquish, i go with a switch pro with gyro, sometimes i wish that we had a really nice controller that could completely make M+Kb irrelevant, i hate when some FPS games have a LOT of actions and I basically run out of keys close to WASD in the keyboard, i know i have tons of them but i want the ones that are close to WASD because they're easy to press by reflex just like any button on a controller

>left stick placement
LMAO

Attached: 1586455346251.png (800x246, 234.2K)

I use a 360 controller and it goes into levels of "it just werks" that are just not measurable by mere mortals.

Does that have a button that acts as a guide button?

But what if my bluetooth dongle is old and only support bluetooth 4?

if it wasnt for the thin triggers this thing would be perfect

Attached: xboxcorecontroller.jpg (1200x1200, 71.01K)

does the PS5 controller work wireless on a PC?

Good old 360 controller with a $3 wireless receiver.

yes that one below the face buttons

Yes, over bluetooth. Steam and DS4Windows support it now too

supposedly, yeah. Distortion2 did that. He had to set up a config tho. Apparently there are drift issues with the controller

>meme gripping

have it and there is def. lag with the 5

Me, too.
Wired 360 controllers are awesome.
They cha fed something with the xbone controllers that made them feel so clunky and unwieldy and I refuse to upgrade until my 360 dies.
But it’s been 8 years and still going strong, so I kinda think it’ll just keep going forever.

You know your right thumb is also at an angle too with that placement, right? What does this even mean?

that sony has to be special and different than the rest like how nintendo swaps x/y and a/b for no reason

anyone else sick of 4 face button controllers when it comes to emulation?

shame that dual stick retrobit saturn controller was probably canned

Attached: 6 face button controllers.jpg (988x742, 170.35K)

in the vast majority of games you move with the left stick and execute actions with the face buttons resting under your right thumb, the right stick is relegated to camera controls
>but muh FPS requires both stick
>playing FPS with dual sticks
LMAO

>thin triggers

man I love fat sausage fingers, any sauce on who this girl is?

At least two of those can be cheaply connected to a pc.
