You've hacked it right? What games have you been playing? I'm considering Bravely Default - haven't played a JRPG in a long time.

do yourself a favor and stop playing after chapter 5
I havent hacked it and I am half way through MM and stuck in water temple in ootmq
Funny enough, that’s the first game I downloaded after hacking my 3DS. I’m just about down with Chapter 3. I say go for it
does the game just slow down?
how are you enjoying it?
I’m really enjoying it so far. Easily one of may favorite 3DS games, although I should probably see it through to the end before I make any conclusions
I did but I kinda stopped playing it because the battery life still is something to be desired on my 3DSXL. Apparently there used to be a bigger battery you could buy from a third party but I can't find them anywhere for a sane price, so I guess they stopped making them.
Maybe I could rig something up with one of those power brick things and some velcro so the system doesn't have it dangling off of it.
Yeah I hacked it earlier this year
Had it since 2013, just hardly played it
Finished Pokemon Alpha Sapphire today, gonna play Fire Emblem Awakening next
Wish I'd played it more but I'll probably keep playing it next year and get a switch in 2022
I have a question about the DSi. Are you able to change the region of a DSi from Japan to US? I'm only now just finding out that there are games that will only display text in whatever the console's default language is.
My sd card broken now so I cant. Asks me to format evertime I connect to my pc, because maybe something broke. Going to find a solution cause I was just replaying smt 4 for that neutral ending on a phys build, and I was far too. Dont want to lose it. Anyone had this?
I hacked it last week. Unbelievable that I have access to every ds and 3ds game. Been playing the shit out of it.
i've had it hacked for about 2 months now, i have almost all the pokemon games downloaded right now
i finished fire red and platinum a while back, right now im playing black
My twilight menu is absolutely fucked where closing the lid for a specific amount of time causes the screen to go black. Beat Strange Journey like this, and I never want to look at that game again. I also don't want to touch this shitty version of twilight menu again either.
playin Prof Layton games for the first time
I heard 11.14 patched browserhax, did they update the guide?
are the stories continuous? should I play these game in chronological order (starting with the original DS games?)
With TWEWY finally getting a sequel, I decided to replay the vanilla to celebrate and refresh my memory.
I'm feeling pretty nostalgic so I'm also gonna replay ghost trick once I'm done. It's been so long that it'll almost feel like I'm playing it for the first tine again.
how does the original hold up in 2020? I've never played it. also I never liked games that required a lot of stylus use (I feel like I'd scratch the shit out of the screen)
They are continuous, yes. Start with the original trilogy (Curious Village, Diabolical Box, and Unwound Future) then the prequels (Last Specter, Miracle Mask, and Azran Legacy). You can optionally play Layton Bros. and Layton Mystery Journey if you'd like, but they're both not necessary with the latter being ass.
If you like it, I'd also recommend the movie, Eternal Diva. They're really comfy times, just don't binge them too much.
I believe the game is best experienced and intended on double screens. Depending on your preferences you may prefer the ports that are more HD and less...pixelized.
I likely have some rose tinted lens bias but I still think it's fine even a decade later, may not be that intuitive at first but it can grow on you, the soundtrack of the game is amazing btw.
And yeah...this game is VERY touch reliant and can get pretty intensive during some battles, so it will likely scratch a screen depending on the stylus(and other factors)
cheers user thank you. I need something opposite of FPS/strategy/RPG.. so this does seem very comfy and different.
thanks
>don't binge them
why not
They're puzzle games. Unless you're *really* into puzzles and doing the similar puzzles over and over, you're gonna lose your mind.
But I guess if you like them then go ahead? The plots are good but the twists can take a bit of a leap of logic at times.
It's kinda like if you binged the Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest series. It's fun the first couple games and then you come out begging for a break.
that's not how the ds version looks
dragon quest 9 is pretty good; add some cheats to lessen the grind though because wifi is dead
Got a 3ds in 2011 and the battery basically doesn't work anymore. Can run for about 20 minutes.
thanks nintendo
Replaying Stella Glow. Modded Jap audio.
Is there like a one all end all hacking guide? I want to get into hacking my 3ds but I'm worried that the guide I'd follow is wrong/outdated and would screw everything up.

do you have the version with the english audio in the cutscenes?
3ds.hacks.guide
this is pretty much idiot proof
