We're testing the limits of permanently erasing an NPC from Oblivion, such that it extends through game sessions, new games, load saves, etc. The boundaries of this are yet to be found. Currently I'm exploring an implementation that alters how this works allowing you to store NPCs in books and release them later. More info and a full release coming tonight.
>We're testing the limits of permanently erasing an NPC from Oblivion, How about erase all the women? Will that work?
Xavier Fisher
You are my hero, Nickies.
James Jackson
If you combined all the male npcs and all the female npcs into their ultimate sex wizards which would win the fight?
Kevin Fisher
Nickies exposed.

You die in the game you die in real life.....

>permanently erasing an NPC from Oblivion >permanently >store NPCs in books and release them later >permanently erasing >release them later
Mason Morgan
Sure will, but remember one thing user; you can't live with them, and you can't live without them!

Nickies, I know that some steam games leave added files in the install folder under some instances when uninstalling. is it possible to write the data regarding deletion to an area of the install that's untouched by uninstalling?
Lincoln Bell
Nickies, can you turn the world into an NPC?
Jaxon Reyes
Separate shit, user. Use some of those reading comprehension skills your kindergarten teacher taught you.
John Clark
I briefly brought this up in the first thread. I think by default the files I'm using actually won't be touched by the default Oblivion uninstall. That said specialized uninstallers meant to catch everything will likely include it.
>erase NPC >close game >turn on laptop >open game there >NPC still there Fucking hack fraud
Jonathan Fisher
Should NPCs that you trap in books be friendly to you if let out, or leave their behavior unchanged? Or perhaps make them angry at you for trapping them?
Random is easily done, so I'll make the following the 3 options: >Run in fear >Attack player >Behavior unchanged
This was trickier than I thought it'd be, but I've finally got it down. I've got the functionality working no matter how many NPCs you turn into books and collect: youtu.be/ViyVRRCzmZU Now to add some other bonuses like one user's request for an alternate spell that gathers npcs all into 1 book, then I'm posting the plugin publicly!
Hey Nickies could you post the original of that Skull of Corruption image? all the copies on the archiev lead to 404s
Lincoln Davis
when you self delete it should bring you to the edge of the void so your screen freaks the fuck out and then you actually delete
Charles Anderson
cool
on a side note i'll be the odd one out and say I prefer the deletion without the clothes falling to the ground. the clothes serve as evidence that a person once existed in that spot, and feels less creepy than there just suddenly being empty space where a person used to be
Jaxon Cook
Make a bow and arrow that gives an NPC powers from one of your previous tests.
>nickies figures out a way to store game information in the regestry
Jordan King
>nickies accidentally makes an npc part of the bios
Zachary Ross
The uninstall button
Aaron Rogers
Can non humans be stored in books? Storing Dagon in a book sounds like a sure way to get rid of the fucker.
Carson Collins
the next sentence just implies that he's changing it. there's nothing at all saying that it's separate you stupid fucking retard schizo making up words in your head and expecting others to see them.

What if the inventory and stats of a deleted NPC got combined with another random NPC?
