thanks to animal crossing I got into horticulture. I now have quite a bit of plants at my home, and Im hoping to learn more about botany in general in the future.

There is a lot of things I'd like to try because of vidya but the social retard part of me stops me from actually doing it. But I did start archery and am pretty decent at it.

Thanks to Smash bros, more specifically Little Mac, I took up boxing. In an ironic twist it has also killed 99% of my vidya playing time.

I've learned and tried a LOT of swordfighting things in real life matches. Not to death obviously, but with sword type blunt weapons. Not fencing fuck fencing.

Surprisingly, a LOT of stuff really does work. I attribute it to the average person having no clue how to swordfight, meaning my tiny amount of knowledge from vidya is still greater than theirs.

Archery is a useless skill unless you're tring to pick up teenage girls who read Hunger Games.

My buddy in college was convinced he was a martial arts master because he had studied all the moves in tekken, and the only way to get him to shut up about it was to slap box him into submission until it just turned into a fighting tournament in the living room.
