I'm finishing up 100% right now.
Good start, felt sonewhat fresh and different, great setting. But then it all slowly fell apart. Writing and hamfisted political shit were abysmal from the start, the generic common/uncommon/rare/legendary loot system (with the same color scheme and all) proved soulless and you still just pick the one with higher numbers and 99% of weapons you earn or loot are trash. Then theres just too much side shit thats weak and not worthwhile. 120+ incredibly bland side aka fetch quests, too many generic areas to "complete" thats just a waste of time. The areas have no unique combat experience aside from the elephants, investigations are a pixel hunt, and "chests" (sometimes just bags or no model at all) are in such obscure places you have to use senu to find them (justifying the birds inclusion) rather than any sort of real challenge.
Something like rdr2 gives you some unique, legendary animals to hunt and get unique outfits. Here they give you 100 generic "legendary animals" that are slightly bigger or a different color than the normal ones but offer no greater challenge or new moveset or unique drops for crafting something, nothing.
Tldr its another soulless checklist open world slog
