I've noticed PC-ports and the settings they provide are nowadays consistently high-quality

Hi varg

oh fuggggg i hope its not 1

Even well into in the graphic whoring 32-bit era, I used to go back and play old games. The limit was 16-bit, though, and always has been, unless it's pacman, donkey kong, tetris, tempest or pong.

ebim

My limit is like nes.era. because older shit like atari for example was just before my time. Don't have particular interest or nostalgia about it.

There are several old games that are just improved by QoL fixes.

Tell me with a straight face that Vanilla X-COM is better than Open X-COM. Go on, buddy.

The NES is where games started being less abstract.

It's not a meme. Standards have changed. The AI in Deus Ex is unacceptable in current year.

What day?

lmao, I love this guy

Okay.

I remember someone making that same argument about HL2 and source games in general. A pretty stupid argument since that’s the worst example. Those games held up the best of time and I don’t really see them aging “poorly”
