because they want the console crowd

>Stars and planets billions or trillions of miles away
>can only take pictures the speed of light
>would take millions of years to even take one picture
>I am supposed to believe that we are able to take pictures of things on the other side of the universe
yeah, if they wanted to money launder they should try something believable

Because console limitations. Red Faction tried but Geo Mod technology unfortunately went no further than their own franchise, which itself died anyway.

Puerto Rico had 1 redeeming quality and this is what they let happen to it. Fuck island Mexicans.

R6Siege and Red Faction games are like the most mainstream destructible environment games and both are available on console

For England, James?

RIP that was one of my favorite maps

Thank god Battlefield 4's worst map was destroyed in real life

I went here a few times when I was younger. What a shame.

No, for Golden Eye starring 007 James Bond

NOTORIOUS ITALIAN TERRORIST RICO RODRIGUEZ WAS LAST SEEN FLYING OFF THE SCENE USING A WINGSUIT

LEVOLUTION!!!

Because 99% of devs aim for the lowest common denominator when it comes to the vast majority of games. The lowest common denominator consume EA and activision products, pay for MTX, and they buy the same game over and over again every year.

>you now remember all those crackdown 3 videos

That's not why. The new gen of consoles has CPUs that are nearly on par with the Ryzen 3700x

Isn't this supposed to be the worlds largest satellite dish that would take photos of the edge of space? What the fuck happened?
Did they find something they weren't supposed to

What is this?

pictures of things millions of lightyears away are pictures of those things from millions of years ago you cretin

The aliens blew it up

The tech and manhours required for destructable environments done right is expensive and detracting.

Nigga it was old as shit and on its last legs without the weather laughing at it. This isn't even the first time cables have snapped on radio telescopes. It was going to be decommissioned anyways and replaced at some point in the next decade anyways.
Just imagine what a space elevator cable could do to the planet though.

>being this pants-shittingly retarded
Holy fuck.

I don't care if it's bait or not

It's old and we don't know how to build things that last longer than 50 years.

user, the thing was on its last legs, they already declared it unsalvageable due to massive damage and announced it's decommission and future demolition just a few weeks ago, the telescope just gave up before it was demolished anyway.

The things we see are just that old. The universe around us is unknowable right now. An entire civilization could have risen and conquered what we see, because its from a million years ago. The light is slow to get here.

>Players break stairs and bridges and make areas they need to go inaccessible. Breaking the level.
>Players skip big parts of levels because they can just smash away at doors and walls.

We're never leaving this rock. We probably shouldn't anyway.

We already have Rainbow Six Siege and its microdestruction, niqqa

Higher quality bait than is usual for this board.

Apparently they didn't do big maintenance. All the cables were bad, so this was a certainty.

>Worlds biggest Beyblade arena

They determined that fixing the old cables wasn't worth the risk for the employees and announced that it would be decommissioned and demolished.

So Mother Nature just beat them to the punch? How the hell did it get in this state anyway?

Earth-based telescopes are going out of fashion. Atmosphere and magnet field fuck too much with the measurements. Orbital telescopes are all the rage, and lunar observatories are the next step.

Cope
they were too dumb to maintain it just like they're too dumb to maintain anything on that shithole island

>it was on its last legs
so like every latin american society ever?

GoldenEye (the game AND the film) are both genuinely creepy. The game's music, colour scheme and the graphics creep me out. The film's colour grading, music, film it was shot on and tone are also creepy. I don't mean "old pervert" creepy but like chills your soul creepy.

Am I crazy? Yes. Am I right? Yes.

This, call me when we cant take pics of big ayy titties

based

Yes now. But the cables should have been replaced years ago.

>born too early to explore space like it's a car drive

We do it's just that boomers don't want to spend the extra money, so they'd rather civilians collapse to save a few bucks for there retirement while we all die.

>civilians
Civilisation*
