Literally all they had to do was make a Fallout New Vegas clone with driving and the character classes from the pen and paper game. Instead they focused on making it "cinematic" and "immersive" and made a shitty cutscene game with limited RPG elements and dialogue choices that are basically (Next) and (Next, rude).
