I haven't actually gotten around to play either yet but to be honest I think I'm kind of burned out by the standard triple A game design formula. Open world sounds impressive an all but after a while and on subsequent replays it just gets a bit tiresome. I like a more level oriented approach. Maybe pull a Tenchu where it's a bit more sprawling than just A to B but I can do without a commute.

By letting team NINJA create another Ninja Gaiden. It's one of the few games that truly let you feel like a ninja. I just hope they can make it so high level play reflects this considering in both NG1, 2, and 3 majority of highest rank play involves playing extremely cheesy play and abuse of how enemies spawn/attack. Watching someone sit behind a corner is gay as fuck

Im still shocked they haven't made a 4 yet. I mean okay 3 was kind of eh, and razors edge was sort of better and the less said about Yaiba but I think there's still certainly demand. Especially considering how DMC5 came in a rocked everyones socks off. Ya gotta get Itagaki back though. For the DOA series too while we're at it.

They've been involve with nioh for years and the success of 1 warranted a 2. They want to make a new NG but they need higher up approval first but it looks like it's at least in the talks and there was a leak, which also was the same source that leaked mass effect collection, that there is a ninja gaiden collection. That will probably be the test of waters to see how much people want it back

You know it retrospect it's a bit of a no brainer to try and sell the Ninja Gaiden Trilogy, I'm actually really surprised they haven't tried that yet. But that's why I'm not the head of a game studio I guess. Me and my radical ideas like... selling product.

It's definitely really inconvenient if you want to play any of the Ninja Gaidens, the fact there has been no remaster/re-release is partly why I think the series has faded in popularity. If you weren't already into it and you don't own the consoles they were on (or a really high end PC that can emulate at least NG:B) you're just shit out of luck.
