For some reason, I've never seen gameplay of MP2. Is it so unpopular?
what takes someone to consider it a good idea to put the games name on the title twice?

For some reason it's the black sheep of the series despite it being a great sequel. Biggest complaint with it by far is the fact it is horrendously short.
Yeah I just finished it recently in under 3 hours on Dead on arrival. It seemed way longer back when I played it for the first time.

One of the best games ever made. Sad how they never made a good single player game after The Darkness.
The only trilogy where all games are equally great. Why can't we get another hard-boiled detective shooter?
I actually finished 2 about a week ago. I really can't put my finger on why exactly it isn't nearly as good as the first or third but it really fell short to me. I think it's just the overall design of the levels, the really weak story that felt too silly and cartoonish, and the fact that half the game took place in the same level, which given how short the game is is kind of unforgivable. Still a great game just nowhere near the first one or again, third.

3 was more Hollywood action movie with melodrama than comic book tier schlock to me.
For me third game feels like aftermath nobody wanted to see. The first two games together are perfect.
True, it really did feel unnecessary story wise but the gameplay and multiplayer were so good I forgave RS.
What I won't forgive them for is GTA V's multiplayer, had the shooting and movement mechanics been retained from MP3 it would have been excellent, but shooting gamemodes in MP feel like absolute dogshit. Fuck Rockstar for that.

Remember when games had legit built-in nude mode cheats? Are there any non-porn games anymore that have that?
2 to felt like a stand-alone expansion pack of a release, except released years later and with far better graphics.
