You guys lied to me and said this was a BOTW Knock off. I would've loved to play one but unfortunately this is an assassin creed knock-off missing all the QoL features, the climbing mechanics are worse, there's no health regen and the stamina bar makes it impossible to climb most things, fall damage forcing me to use potions and drowning because of the poor swimming psychics is frustrating. I'm starting to think Zig Forums doesn't play games if they call this trash a BOTW clone.
Just cause a game has climbing mechanics and a stamina meter does not make it a BOTW clone, this games combat is literally assassin creed, its climbing is assassin creed (but worse) and it's full of collectibles and backtracking (you can't even get the collectibles till you unlock certain skills and other shit later down the line)
If anyone has any questions on this game let me know, I am playing it. It's an assassin creed game and anyone who compares this to BOTW is a troll

Someone post the comparison video showing that every mechanic in the game is identical to BotW. Climbing with stamina Horse taming and deer mounts Flurry rush Sneakstrike Gliding Flying machine Magnesis/Strength of Herakles Slow time in-flight aiming Even the ubisoft tower map reveal looks like BotW's map reveal.

The "magnesis" isn't like BOTW, it doesn't have any physics, all you do is just activate skill and it grabs a random rock and you throw it. It doesn't have any weight to it.
Assassin creed already has puzzles in it. Just because you add a levitate skill does not suddenly make the game not be assassin creed. You guys are going to get fooled HARD.

The game is actually extremly fun. It's my favorite game of 2020 so far. I love that cartoon aesthetics especially paired with greek mythology. Reminds me of Hercules. Sounds like you're just bad at games. Why do you want automatic health regen ? There's potions and shrooms you can eat to heal. Well yeah the stamina is limited in the beginning, so you can't climb everything and have to upgrade your character to explore more. Poor swimming ? It's the same swimming like in most games wtf This game to me feels so old school like Banjo, Jak and Daxter etc... Lots of platforming, puzzles, collectibles for upgrades, new costumes, new color schemes. The narration is really fun and interesting, it feels like Bastion with Zeus and Prometheus commenting on stuff you're doing or places you go. Unfortunately, this game will always be compared to AC and BOTW and will be forgotten because of that. Who cares if some other games did perfect dodge before ? Gliding, horse riding etc.. A crazy amount of games does it too, why always compare it to BOTW and AC. Pirate the game, or buy it whatever but honestly give it a try, Play the game to enjoy the game and have fun because you will and have a good time.

I wasn't too sure about the game but I watched a decent review that makes me really want to get it. I liked Odyssey but felt it was too bloated and combat got way too repetitive despite it's skills and honestly the greek setting was 100x more boring than the game before despite my love for greek shit. Only the actual cities stood out.
This game seems to pretty much improve upon everything from odyssey without having to be tied to AC itself.
Also just to add, when I say collectibles, it's not like AC with useless collectibles like feathers or Zelda with hundreds of chests with weapons you already have or rupees. Every collectibles you find are to upgrade your character or a piece of equipment. There's tons of challenges that gives you coins which are like skills points and chests that you need to do stuff to activate like beat a wave of enemy or a mini boss or do a puzzle for a piece of armor or weapon. And they are EVERYWHERE, it's not like in AC where you find cool ruins in a region and there's a shitty collectible there, the level design in this game is really good, there's tons of ruins and awesome stuff to find and they always have a reward.
