Where I can I buy cigarettes?
they've been real since 1988, It's hardly Nostradamus
Nooo! Kojima predicted to modern internet, he's a fucking genius!
doesn't exist
this, but unironically
"If Cyberspace is going to be for the masses, the masses will use it for whatever they see fit (mostly ‘junk-talk’ + ‘stupid-games’)" - 1989
"The real enemy on the net are corporations seeking control over a medium they do not yet have any control over." 1993
etc
:(
he is the ubermench, everyone should try to be like kojima
kojima is good
kojima os god
Kojima is strangely prophetic like 5% of the time and a pretentious gasbag the rest.
There's literally nothing strangely prophetic about him. The LOL GOVERNMENT IS SPYING ON U TRU ITNERNET was already joke in god damned GTA 3 from 2001.
nah not that, just some of the more mundane stuff in the games.
Examples?
And sometimes just wants a reason to make or dig up cool military/mecha shit. And some weird shit too.
I feel like he started the bionic arm craze for one.
DARPA still has that hilarious prototype locked up, somewhere.
Kojima invented drones
I know, I just feel like it kicked off really hard after MGSV's announcement.
CYPHER?!?
He wasn't the person who wrote the monologue on the digital age of information, that was Tomokazu Fukushima
I can't believe Kojima invented society and governments to control societies.
why do you want a security drone?
I'm annoyed these didn't turn up in later MGS games. I think drones are kinda cool.
They show up in Peace Walker, which like all the tech in that game is more advanced than stuff in games set after it.
I never at any point questioned that something like that could exist. I just took most of what the game presented to me to be based on reality, since I was like 9 when I played it.
