Just finished Ghost Trick. It was very fun and charming, and even knowing *that* twist beforehand, there were a lot more pleasant surprises that made the story enjoyable. What were your guys' experience?

I thought this game was unanimously liked on Zig Forums.

You do get contrarian faggots.

What was the twist?

you are dead

>cover spoils the twist

Great vidya! If you haven't already, give this game a shot; it's unique, it's charming, it's memorable, it's soulful

I didn't find out about this game until long after playing Ace Attorney. Dug out my DS lite and was pretty captivated by it for the week.

I dont't see a cat

What are some good adventure DS games, hell, even non-DS adventure games, that are as good or better than Ghost Trick?

this

>better than Ghost Trick?
none

fun game. wish they'd make similar games but with more open endedness. love the rube goldberg devices.

It's my favorite game. Glad you liked it OP

Anyone else felt this way? I mean like you got a lot of planning time at first and then it just became about making things coincide the right way at the right time.

The twist is (and I really wrote it up, so don't hover over this shit if you haven't played and intent to play this amazing game you terrible faggot)

You are dead. You wake up and assume you're the dead body in the beginning of the game. But in actuality, you are the cat. Not only that, one of the other characters has already time traveled a couple times to try and get you to help stop the murders that happen and change the course of history. Because you are a cat, the first time he approached you you were selfish and didn't help. So he made up a time limit that you would cease to exist if you didn't solve the mysteries of the evening.

It's incredible. It's well made, and the ending is so satisfying after you come to know all the characters in the game. You have still not been spoiled for much of the games story so go play it.

I am making my own version. Dont let the thread die

I was looking for a shopped comic I had in reference to Ghost Trick, I saw it yesterday and can't find it.

The twist is that Lynne killed you except she didn't because you're not actually the person you thought you are. You are that persons pet cat. But Lynne killed the cat too so she killed you after all except she was possessed at the time so it wasn't really her fault. Also the lamp is Missile from another timeline who manipulated you into saving everyone.

Amazing game. Literally oozes with style and passion.

Shu Takumi needs to be freed from Ace Attorney so he can make more one-offs like this.

O MY KNITTED HAT

Thought you were hot? Guess what, YOU'RE NOT!

Found it.
Perhaps a bit too busy, but I get most of it, except Watchmen.

It was an amazing game for me.
One of the best happy endings ive seen in a story.

Replayed it myself a few months ago, still as great as ever.
If you take characters, music, art and gameplay separately, then none of them are so impressive, but they worked so perfectly in sync.

ghost trick is the shit, the first thing i would do if i became capcom CEO i would give shu takumi a blank check to make whatever the fuck he wants

This stupid goddamn line still makes me tear up on command.

I love this game. There's not much that comes close for me.
