How long until there's a platform better than Twitch?

How long until there's a platform better than Twitch?

People seem to be getting fed up with them

Just like people were getting fed up with Youtube?

Do you see YouTube Gaming still around, user?

Who said anything about Youtube Gaming?

dlive

Youtube livestream is literally the only other option if you want it to be somewhat lucrative.

>How long until there's a platform better than Youtube/Twitter/insert social media here
>People seem to be getting fed up with them
The answer is never. They are too big to be replaced and everyone is too used to these things even when it proves time and time again that it fucks people in the ass.

I only watch Youtube streams these days, haven't touched Twitch in a few months. Honestly forgot it existed

>Chinese software that installs a bitcon miner on you
No thanks, Chang.

All that stand between them and destruction is one UI Redesign from youtube

>Wanting to watch streamers with YouTube's ultra normie chat

Don‘t care what happens to streamers as long as i can block ads

Because Mixer did so well.

Your pic does not inspire hope.

Mixer already was better than twitch from a visual standpoint.

No one good or creative does Youtube streams. They all use Twitch for better or worse.

This. People been whining about >hurr durr youtube so bad, we really need an alternative for like a decade now, yet everyone still keeps on watching it.
If huge players like microsoft tried and failed at emulating twitch, its certainly here to stay

Microsoft didn't try, they just released an incredibly barebones site and bought out some losers. Just like "Youtube Gaming" was an absolute shitfest where you couldn't look up game directories and instead got directed to high viewership zoomer friendly clowns.

Microsoft thought throwing money at big names and not building communities was a good idea.

This. If Youtube actually just straight up copied the Twitch layout and something like BTTV was made available for Youtube, then it would be an extremely easy way to defeat Twitch.

For some reason Youtube doesn't want to do that though. I don't understand why. They already have better servers, better infrastructure, a better player, etc.

Streamers are a cancer on the video game industry. Youtubers were already pretty bad, but Twitch streamers took the E-celeb faggotry to another level

There already is. Why aren't you watching streamers on Bitwave?

Youtube is pretty much the only entity that could take them, if they actually cared about streaming and not just promoting Rihanna and Jimmy Fallon to boomers

Gotta appease all those blind people watching Twitch, huh?

We're not in the open days of the internet anymore. Making a "better alternative" to the big established sites like Amazon, Twitch, Youtube, etc. is no longer as feasible because they're so fucking big.
To use Zig Forums's favorite food analogy. You can make a really fucking good burger place, but you're not going to be seen as an alternative to McDonalds because you can't get that kind of ubiquity without an absurd amount of time and money investment.

Only way twitch takes an actual hit is if Amazon decides that they're losing too much money with the free twitch prime sub perk and removes it. Go look up any random full time channel and you'll realise that the bulk of full time streamers are being propped up by Amazon. Remove that and who knows what will happen.

>top room is just people spamming slurs

yeah cant see why people wont use it

>reddit spacing
you need to go back

This

Remember mixer?

You forget people once said MySpace was the peak of social media and nothing would ever replace it

*lemons are distributed in your path*

YT does have a BTTV-like thing. However, it still needs a UI change -- essentially just making the stream and chat larger. Not exactly hard to do but apparently impossible for YT.

never
the us government owns youtube
twitch is owned by the richest man in the world who can buy your towns businesses out and collapse the entire economy

unlucky

I hear a demon baby resides within the walls of that site.

You like to have someone to watch youtube videos with you
