How are you feeling that they changed "problematic" funny lines?

They changed some of his lines, here's the ones I noticed:

Episode 1

Original dialogue:

It's the latest in BoscoTech inovation, it'll clear out a room of militant college students in no time, guaranteed.

New dialogue:

It's the latest in BoscoTech inovation, it'll clear out a room in no time, guaranteed.

Episode 2

Original dialogue:

Oh no, the Skinbodies are like Skinheads, but ten times worse!

New dialogue:

Oh no, the Skinbodies are like those horrible hairless cats, but ten times worse!

They also changed the license plate of that car parked next to the Desoto

Original: DRG DLR

New: RMS DLR

And, in the other episodes, when you click on some objects, Max still has the old voice from episode 1 (unlike the original).

Episode 3

Original dialogue:

You may call me, Jean-Francois Sissypants, the cowardly French anarchist.

New dialogue:

You may call me, Jean-Francois Bonde-A-Part, the new wave French anarchist.

Which doesn't make sense, considering Sam & Max still call him "Sissypants"

Episode 4:

I didn't notice any change in the dialogue so far, but the time estimate for the missile to hit Krypton does not show up (might be a bug).

Episode 5:

They changed one of Bob's line

Original dialogue:

Take our complimentary goggles designed for special-needs children so that the little ones can play along.

New Dialogue:

Take our complimentary wide-fit goggles designed for playing while bicycling or enjoying full-contact sports!

Original dialogue:

It's 'cause everyone on the internet has to pick an avatar, like a dwarf or an orc or an hot young fifteen-year- old girl curious about the adult world and willing to experiment.

New Dialogue:

Wow, why though? They are not really that offensive or anything, I think sending feedback to the team who is remastering the games is important, no reason at all to change these lines.

On the other hand I understand the market has changed and a small company wouldn’t wanna have headlines going “x game is faggot phobic” and hell even if they had the retarded Zig Forums mindset of being “based” they’d probably end up loosing possible sales/investors/money and have bad PR. Some of these lines are replaced with no jokes at all. Like the new line about the goggles has no punch to it. It just a normal bland line, in a series known for its humor.

It's lame, but there are still plenty of amusing lines in the game. Bosco's new voice is unfortunate though.

The dumbest part about this change is that Max still calls Bosco "Sissypants" anyway, and what a surprise, nobody who reviewed the remaster actually gives a shit.

All the devs accomplished with these "alterations" was shooting itself in the foot by annoying the already niche fanbase Sam and Max have managed to maintain over the years.

Something else I noticed was that Max mentions in episode 5 how Bosco always refers to them as foo', which no longer makes any sense since the new VA never say foo' in his lines. Apparently a black guy calling someone "fool" is racist now?

The new Voice is kinda awful, but if you never played the originals it's probably fine.
