I am really happy that DKC1 was my first game. Got an SNES on christmas with DKC bundled 1996 or whatever it was
This one. I did luck out.
Some good guesses might be a port or clone of Missile Command either for DOS or that fit into the boot sector of a disk. My grandma had a computer with ports of Marble Madness and Ms. Pac-Man. The disks were very large but I was also quite small so it is hard to say whether they were 5 1/4" or 8". Some Tiger Electronics game might have been my first game or possibly the Ultimate Doom. I will probably never know.

Phantom Panzer II on the Atari 2600 when I was like still in kindergarten.
Zelda II, I was like 4 years old and all I would do is explore the overworld and die. I also remember a forest where you move slow as shit, haven't played it for years

I couldnt read yet and had no idea how to progress in the game so id just wander monkey island looking for the end
Didn't enjoy Sunshine or Galaxy. Never played Galaxy 2 or Odyssey. But I just want more of this for the love of god. The DS remake wasn't bad but I still strongly prefer the original. The PC port is the greatest thing that's ever happened to me, I still replay this game a few times a year.
2 was better while 3 killed the series.
