They're not good, they're just not unbearable to watch, you will watch 3 maybe 2 times. You will never want to watch 4 again. 2 and 1 are endlessly rewatchable.

Definitely. I can't think of any moments Dash had to shine from 2. Right off the top of my head I can point to him running on water and the remote football toss from the first movie. Those bits had a great theme, too.

The first movie is about idolization. The most apparent is Bob's desire to relive the old days and how it is so destructive that it almost killed his family.
The second movie takes that idolization theme and uses it with the villain's severe hatred for regular people relying on superheroes, but the problem is that the movie is just a bloated mess that spends far too much time on antics that don't really push that theme. The overall story is typically much weaker as well, the villain is nowhere as fleshed out as Syndrome ever was.

That isn't really comparable to getting attacked.

Unironically the worst movie I've ever seen, its the reason I've stopped watching movies altogether. Literally what were they thinking?

its not like the villain was a threat, not to mention the new heroes they showed were basically fortnite skins

sequel could've been about dash and violet not taking lead as their parents are too old to fight crime meanwhile jack-jack struggles to choose which superpower he's sticking with as he has problems to be consistent when planning how to fight crime. they could've show for example violet being in college having to live on her own splitting her time as superhero and student while dealing with romance and socializing. Dash would be struggling to keep it a secret and maybe dropping school to be full time superhero and jack jack wanting to be someone finding his own way and crew. there was no point into exploring more about the parents
