Maybe, if Konami decided to make a new Bomberman anime, or even localized the Bomberman Jetters anime, maybe that would spark some interest, and attract new fans. Hell, I got interested in the series after seeing the Jetters anime.

Yeah, Bomberman 2 was pretty rad. If they ever made a sequel, they should add more story to it, and even greater customization. I had to import a German copy of the game to play it since it never got a American release.

I don't have Stadia, so I can't even play that game. Maybe if it got ported to Switch or something, maybe I'd try it out.

I'm a casual that's only ever really played the NES game (the GBA version of it even) so I can't pretend to know much about it, but didn't big tournaments used to be a whole ass thing for bomberman? just make a game focused on something like that. turn it into esports for the kids. fuck you could even add a battle royale mode of some type while you're at it. and if you really wanna make the big bucks add in the sexy anime girls from the arcade game as DLC or something (and a story mode DLC as well for fans on the opposite end of the spectrum.)

bomberman is already a battle royale kind of game

Release Bombergirl PC, there's already datamining for it, topping up paseli is easy for gaijins now and you don't need a controller like IIDX or Pop'n's PC ports to play beyond Enjoy Mode.
