Shadowlands is alright so far, but it suffers from the same shit WoW has always suffered from. You spend all your time playing for 3-4 days in the week and then you have done everything possible and you gotta wait for the next reset. This timegated shit fucking blows donkey dicks.

Maldraxxus is the realm of deaths military.
Revendreth is for redemption.

What I don't understand about Maldraxxus is how dying there works.
It's repeated multiple times that when a mortal dies their soul goes to the shadowlands and depending on the life they lead they get a new role, if they 'die' in the shadowlands they cease to exist and get turned into life energy, i.e Anima.

But in Maldraxxus thousands fight and die constantly, are those souls just lost forever then? What decides what body you get, seems very unfair to get a weak ghoul body as your final chance. Why do mobs complain about being destroyed and put back together when you kill them? Is being constructed into an abominations like an extra life?

What convinced me was browsing /wowg/ and seeing an image showing one of those dumb time-gated research upgrade things again.

Classic is shit cause you have to rely on guilds for loot and stuff, but so much other stuff in retail is garbage for opposite reasons.

So just literal valhalla? Why do other zones having job training then? Revendeth trains souls and harvests them. Bastion creates kyrian. Aerenweld grows trees and shit from souls. Maldraxxus.. Murders each other?

abominations are basically unkillable, if you have enough meat to build new body, they are like souls, wearing a suit
other undead are reborned souls, your form and strength depends on mostly your deeds in life
and I guess that necromancy allows to reborn those souls and not let them wither away into anima

Raids, mythic+ and PvP seasons don't start until next week. Right now it's just daily quests, WQs and your 8 weekly mythic 0 to gear up. Everything in WoW is timegated these days.
