Yeah i'm based

heres your mouse bro

My PC isn't on the move. There are very few advantages to wireless mice and many drawbacks. Especially if you are next to a wireless router. It'll fuck with mouse.

>Raiding in WoW
>Mouse stops responding
>"user, why are you standing in the fire?!"
>Trying to explain my mouse is locking up
>Realize it's a wireless "gaming" mouse
>Benched
Never using a wireless mouse again.

>mouse starts to double-click automatically just clicking once

Does this happen to all mice after a while? Mine's wired, btw.

>having wireless anything
wifi niggers must hang

Yes, time to replace it

>not wanting as little latency as possible on all input devices
ISHYGDDT

>many drawbacks
what are these drawbacks of which you speak?
i was gonna get the wireless version of my current mouse because on the wired version the stupid corsair logo led won't shut off without the stupid corsair app open.

latency, bateries, too expensive, not as good as the wired models with gaming in mind.

The G305 is lighter, cheaper, and lower latency than 98% of wired gaming mice.

As long as mice use physical switches instead of optical ones, this can and will happen.

Isn't weight based on preference?

>He fell for Logitechs horseshit latency claims
Yes son, you're receiving and transmitting wireless data faster than a hardwire, because magic.

I had to use this abomination of a mouse once. How can people use that shit on a regular basis?

Increased price, possibility of interference and generally worse latency without a major price premium high end mouse, ever having to deal with battery charging

>wireless signals travel at the speed of light through empty space
>electrical signals travel

>He uses a wired internet connection

I find that my mice break down every 2-3 years and wired mice are 1/2 the price of the wireless ones.

>lighter
factual impossibility due to batteries
>cheapening out on lightweight parts to counteract the battery weight
How about just dont have a fucking battery dumbass are you going to take it into the bathroom with you with a comedic set of mirrors pointing toward your screen bouncing around the walls?

Inevitable due to the small metal strip wearing out over time, more associated with Razer since they use(d) Omron's S series of switches which were generally rated for 25% as many clicks before failing.

High end mice these days use an optimal switch, so instead of flexing a piece of metal into a contact you're instead interrupting an optical laser beam. These are going to last a lot longer than switches but they're not as infallible as many people treat them, most mice with them are still using a metal flexing strip below the spring and optical housing to give the same physical clicking feedback when you press so those will also wear out in time.

Also G305 is about mid-80g if you use a AAA-to-AA adapter

Just imagine how much lighter it'd be without a battery lmao could use denser switches

I have a wireless mouse and I don't use it because I don't want to swap out batteries every day.

do people like light mice? I prefer mine to be as heavy as possible.

How do you clean a mouse with holes?

Same weight for the wired version

I just use a $10 Logitech mouse from woolies. Work so pretty good.

>playing WoW
WoW, you should KYS

Also, that's without the cable weight. Just the body

Is there any mice that DON'T do the double-click? If not, then what's the solution?

>inb4buyanothermouse

Mice that use optical switches

>lower latency

Physically impossible (with current tech), try again.

I can't tell if this post is supposed to be satirical, or if you're genuinely this fucking stupid.

The Pro X is 63 grams with a battery, and the Model O wireless is 69. Both have a cable you can use but are wireless. So why argue about it when you can just have both?

i don't like fucking around with bluetooth when I don't have to

>change battery every 71h
holy shit

Because, I'm not paypig for batteries. Wireless keyboard and mice are massively overrated.

Wiring is a non-issue with a little cable management.

Literally plug in the USB cable at night and remove it when you use your computer the next day

>2035

shiggy diggy

>buy wireless mouse to plug usb cable EVERY DAY
how about buy wired mouse plug it ONCE and *dink* it is done

I like mine heavy because I play using my wrists with the highest sensitivity.

Or, you know, just leave it plugged in and the whole problem is moot.

Because of cable weight and drag
>why does that matter
We've got other anons in this very thread talking about how wired mice are lighter than wireless which is already proven false. Cable weight makes that argument even worse

>lol just leave it plugged in if you hate batteries so much
>*goes loose on you after 6 weeks*
