All the souls games are obnoxious to get trophies in, more so after people stop playing online.
DS2 SotFS had the sense to make covenant reward spells buyable at the NPC in the castle in NG++ but for some reason they didn't do that for the sunlight covenant so you have to farm 30 sunlight medals off of enemies. Really shitty.

any tips for enjoying the original Dark Souls more bros? Dark Souls was my first Souls game and I like it enough, but I want to love it in the same way that I love Bloodborne, or even Demon's Souls. I'm a lore guy and I've been devoting a little time to enjoying the bits of the lore that I find the most interesting, such as Fire Keepers and the insect quality of Humanity, but I'm still having trouble attaching myself to the game

how cool the yohrm concept would be if you had to actually work to get the weapon required (or alternatively complete the boss with more challenge). you'd have to venture further to get the required weapon and then backtrack to finally beat the boss. I think there is incredible potential to discover in different gimmicks and hopefulle we see something cool in ER.

Guys I think I've developed some sort of PTSD from Dark Souls 1. I don't know why but with every playthrough back in the day things like this didn't even phase me. But after watching some DS1 videos last night and seeing a high definition Four Kings and Kaathe just sitting in the dark I legit felt my heart sink. I think it has something to do with my thalasaphobia. But why do I feel this NOW as an adult rather than when I was just a stupid teen playing DS1 back in 2011?
