Do people actually enjoy playing this pile of steaming shit and other battle royals?

But this game has depth

It depends on if I get a team that can pull their weight, or a bunch of retards that insta drop with 15 other team, whether or not I enjoy the game. After you get 2-3 teams of retards you're better off just playing something else. It's shit competitive is dead in my region.

Its fun as but not very deep. Once you've learned advanced movement and tricks/techs, that's about it.

Once in a while I think about playing this. Then I just remember Titanfall 2 still exists.

The ping system alone is what makes Apex work. It's kind of amazing really.

Well since Apex is the only BR with actual AAA gunplay Id say yeah. The new map is great

Not as fun as Titanfall.

The holiday train event is pretty fun, I like that it changes it from a BR to a capture the point game.

Most characters aren't that bad (some designs are pretty good actually) but yeah ones like Rampart are a bit rough on the eyes.

I tried it but I'm not big on BR. I can see it's good for what it is but I still prefer Insurgency Sandstorm and the like. I enjoy my fps more tactical than CoD but not on the level of Arma and Insurgency hits the sweet spot for me.

22 different posters damn this game must actually be good. Some of my friends have started getting into it, should I join them? I've never been good at shooters, can someone give me some tips to git gud at this one?

Rampart and Bangalore are ugly, the rest are fine. Even Lifeline is close to being cute if she were just slightly less negrofied.

Play Caustic, he just throws gas traps and bombs at the enemies so no shooting skills are required

Best game in a really bad genre.

Start with two squares strong white Armour. Every tier adds one square. Ya, fucken deep mate
Variety of guns, ammo, and mods make for a nice variety of loadouts but nothing groundbreaking.
Agree on movement, really good and original for an fps, yet a whole league below titanfall.
Half the cast is useless and honestly most characters are laughable and their writing is abysmal

Armour adding more on the damage is quite a depth thing, you can hotswap it midfight w/o wasting time healing, you have to choose to heal your health or battery if not possible, the shield on your enemies can instruct ya on your pals on which weapons, throwables would be better,etc,etc

It’s a great game. The characters have a lot of personality which compliments their playstyle perfectly. For instance, Wraith’s whispery voice and dismissive attitude is a perfect fit for how everyone who plays her is a sweaty tryhard who doesn’t cooperate with their squad and disconnects as soon as they get downed. Mirage is cocky in a charismatic way which reflects how Mirage players always show off and make matches more interesting but are also prone to stupidity. Gibraltar is bro-tier.

Never finish a kill unless you are the last one alive or the downed enemy is a mile away from his team (or you're sniping and can do it safely). Always go for knocks until you get the triple elimination sounds for squad wiping. Gold knockdown and lifeline rezzing changes this somewhat but you have to remember that wasting bullets on a downed enemy means the other two enemies are killing your teammates and you're not helping them.
