If you really want to, you can try to gear up your main DPS with the artifact dungeons. If you're masochistic, get your second DPS geared up as well.
I'd still advise against it, the drop rates pre-AR45 are complete dogshit but if you have your skills on your current DPS characters maxed out, and they're level 80, guess there's not much else to do really.

Primos can also be used to advance the battlepass levels or refill your resin, though you should never use them for that. Just stick to buying fates with them.

Pretty sure 99% of the "hacking" done in this game is just account buyers getting fucked over and scammed when the seller claims "their account" back.

Insurance I assume. If you're not paying attention you might accidentally spend primos on something else, say you've got 39 resin and do a boss and mash confirm thinking it's recharged when it hasn't or some shit like that. Buying the fates prevents any such accidents.

Nah someone on /vg/ showed off the primary method. You only need to know somebody's ID (which you can learn with coop).
You punch that ID into Mihoyo's website and say "I forgot my password". Then it sends a verification code which is a six-digit number. You can create a program which makes this request and spams random numbers, it'll accept about 10 guesses before it stops you but then it'll start accepting again immediately if you request again, with no captcha and no overall cooldown. So you can just set up a bot to make these requests and leave it alone, it'll crack any account eventually, might take a few days or it might take a few minutes.
If you have a botnet you can do it even faster.
This only works against PC/phone players since PS4 players access the game with their Sony account.

After I did a bunch of co-op (for the last event) I was suddenly getting various "offers" sent to the e-mail address tied to the Genshin account. Credit applications and whatnot. There are definitely hackers.
I'm just glad I'm F2P so the e-mail was the only info they could grab.
If other people besides me are saying it there's probably something to it.
Co-op is pretty easy to avoid most of the time anyways.
