Holy shit, this retard's tracking and infinite stamina is fucking obnoxious. genuinely not an enjoyable boss fight

if you suck

best fight in the game with the best music

Learn to parry.

He has that one obnoxiously hard-tracked move where he walks towards you with the overhead swing, otherwise I thought it was pretty fair.

The original Iundex Gundyr was more annoying because I genuinely could not interpret his monster-form telegraphs. Just a huge ball of snot that jiggled in arbitrary ways.

all boss fights are trash just like the game itself, have fun repeating the same shit over and over again until you finally understand it only to do it all again once you meet the next boss
FUN!

Its one of my favorites from 3, so fun.

Unironically, learn to parry, and the entire thing becomes a practical joke. Feel free to make a video of it and edit in stock laughing spectator noises, because it's just that pathetic. The parry timings are also very intuitive, so if you have a small shield or a buckler, it's child's play.

i thought the same thing until i got good at the game. not even trolling or trying to make you feel bad. once you get good this is one of the funnest fights in the game but when you suck its horrible

What a shitty area. Literally the first level copypasted except with no skybox. Felt unfinished.

one of the best bosses, ruined from how easy it is to parry him

that's when the obnoxious tracking comes in

I remember struggling with this boss until realizing it's attacks are easily parried.

It's your fault to play shitty rollspam games.

You can’t parry? Are you a fucking retard?

Just spam roll and bait attacks that you can easily parry

then parry him

>if the games have more than 2 or 3 hard bosses then they're boss rush games

this is the only boss I feel that actively manages to punish the INSTANT 0.1 SECOND estus chug ds3 has, once he goes red eyes mode he never stops chasing you, every other boss in their next phase, even gael, sometimes stand and look at you or something

imagine being this wrong

>if fanbase actively ignores mobs in order to reach bosses faster then they are boss rush games
It's especially quite ironic when DeS and DaS has more persistent AI that chases you for a long way more than any other game in the series maybe except DaS2. Bloodborne and onwards forgets your existence after running 50 meters.

DSA does this but worse. When he does his jump slam he will do a mid air 360 to track you.

I didn't have to lol, why would I learn his moveset and timings just so I can parry him and have that knowledge become useless after I kill him because every boss is a retard that flails in different ways? I can just roll through most of his attacks.

dragonslayer? he didn't seem that bad to me. definitely a much more enjoyable boss than shitfest gundyr

Enemy chases you because if persistent AI
>hehe i'll kill him in one hit (nuthin personel kid)

Boss chases you because if persistent AI
>NOOOOO YOURE RUINING MY GAMING EXPERINECE!!!!!

Yeah he's definitely enjoyable, I just meant that he has retarded tracking on one of his attacks. DSA is one of my favorite fights in DS3.

Terrible boss for a terrible game, it's completely trivialized by parrying but at the same time gets 360 degrees tracking and a near-teleport shoulder bash to punish any attempt to position yourself intelligently.

Literally a trivial boss fight. Just parry.

>dragonslayer fight is interrupted by retarded flying pilgrim flies that spam meatballs at you
>gundyr is 1v1 in wide open area

gundyr is an infinitely more satisfying and fun fight

just don't get hit by them

Based.

>Boss chases you because if persistent AI
>>NOOOOO YOURE RUINING MY GAMING EXPERINECE!!!!!
Boss' attacks tracks your movement in NuSouls. Not the same thing.

Summon a pyro

Gundyr was like fighting a fighting game character. First time when I didn't know about parries was so fucking fun.

well deserved for pre-rolling the attack.
