Every detail matters with games that important to people who replay them every now and then. To purists anyway. Keep in mind some of these changes happened because Nintendo was forced, which always sucks. The newest versions literally aren't the original vision of the game

1.0 is shittier than 1.1. 1.1 has no censorship and patched some of the bugs.
When I played OoT online it was kinda shitty bc it's basically just 2 separate instances of the game shoved into 1 - You can't pick up someone else's pot, and they can't touch yours. Means it isn't really co-op, just 2 instances of the game running
That's why you set up a randomizer, so people in their games can pick up items for you in your game.
