the same 4 enviornments (subway, streets, sewers, more streets) are boring as hell to look at, at least shooting monsters is moderately enjoyable even if i've basically seen every original monster by now and im just fighting different recolors
i don't understand what was going on with the game though, its like the entire game is just a proof of concept test instead of a real game considering its 99% padding
shame its nothing similar to the trailer besides demon killing, i'd kill for a remake that makes the game less shit, even if they kept the graphics the exact same

i recently rediscovered my love for vidya by playing through dark souls for the first time. immediately played it again and loved it even more. now playing dark souls 3 and it reminds me of everything i hated about video games and video game communities, what a disappointing piece of shit, calling this dark souls is false advertising, this has nothing to do with the game i liked. i think i'm going back to playing igavanias now

no but he did inspire me to finally play it because of his overreaction to the dull environments
i haven't tried the envoker yet but i think that might actually be the worst class in the game from what i've played, though i've only played marksman and blademaster which i imagined to be the "damage" classes since its supposed to be like an MMO in some way
i think ross screwed something up on his marksman though, i was about like 2 or 3 levels higher when i got to the same station that he stopped playing on and generally doing way more damage than i thought i should be based on the impression he gave me
i think it might be his weapon though, the laser rifle, which isn't good at single targets and more suited to dealing with trash enemies like zombies and he should've been using something else instead, plus he was just holding the trigger down instead of firing in bursts since laser rifles have a charge that goes down to 25%, where you'll deal less damage
i feel like he should've treated the game like chosen well of souls where you play it for an hour a day then go do something else considering his strong hatred of the same fucking copy pasted environments every level, then again im the kind of autistic monkey that can stomach games like this

Fom Software is a one entry wonder studio only, if they decide to do a barrage of sequels like how they did with the Dark Souls IP they slowly get shittier and shittier, good reason why Bloodborne and Sekiro most likely will never have sequels and will stay as one title only games, as the leads at the studio have probably learned their lesson.

I have 173 hours. Probably the most I've put into a game that has a relatively sparse amount of content, outside of something like Tetris. It's my "don't feel like playing anything else right now" game. Can get in a few runs that last about half an hour each.

Revelation 1 and 2 is a definite pick up. Both got kinda silly story but that's how RE goes. Oh and Revelation 1 is hell of a fun game. 2 didn't stick with me as much. Probably because I hate Moira.
