You're better off doing a stealth netrunner build, maybe with some sniping, because the combat looks awful on all levels.

I thought the Witcher 3 looked like an aircraft UI. Mostly because it has a million bars and no label of what each one is, I only found out what Adrenaline was and which bar controlled it when I had left Velen.

I do. but the AI is so trash and I hate the dumb nu-game survival mechanics where I have to scrounge for everything especially when it has no big picture effect on the game as a whole just what equipment you can bring in the next game.

Leakers from Twitter and Resetranny say the main story can be completed in around 20-25h, skipping all side quests and just rushing through the main storyline, which is around 2-3x shorter than TW3's main storyline (50-55h).

This is about as long as the main story of Witcher 2 (via: HowLongToBeat)

One Resetranny said that, with skipping almost all but a few side quests, and just rushing through the main storyline, he managed to get to the end in 22h. He then loaded up his save before the point of no return and checked out a different ending. In the end, coming to the ending that satisfied him, from start to finish, took him 24.5h. So 22-24h. Minus a few side quests and free roam = 20-22h. On easy difficulty.

According to that Resetranny, the game is paced incredibly well and the story gets better as it progresses, with an incredibly gripping, emotional and (for that t.ranny) personally touching ending.

As for the few side quests that he played - they were all very varied, complex, interesting, unique and all the characters all feel very much alive and realistic, and not like cardboard cutouts. Side quests vary from short ones that can be finished in a dozen or so minutes, to longer ones that take 30-60 minutes to finish, to full fletched multi-side quest mini-campaigns of their own that take 1-2h+ to complete in total

According to that Resetranny, the number of side quests is absolutely massive and overwhelming, which is also why he didnt bother with them - the main storyline was too intense and gripping for him to drop out and focus on side quests, cuz there were just too damn many

Why does this meme keep getting pushed? It NEVER fucking works. Gunplay doesn't translate well to stat-based gameplay at all. Either enemies end up being bullet sponges or your character has parkinsons until maxing your skill like in Deus Ex, and at least in that game enemies fucking die when you shoot them in the head

Game announced in 2012 and started production in 2016. Hmmm 4 years to nail the story and concepts and another 4 to nail the design and programming. You would have thought that it would have been a polished game by then, coming from a developer that is in such high regard as cd projekt red.
