Do you ever think about the fact that you financially support an industry that is actively working to rob us of our humanity and pacify us so we don't revolt ?

You goys would never revolt from your slavery
You will play ze vidya games
You will buy ze merch
You will eat ze bugs
In the last 10 years we've seen the consequences of even the smallest 'revolts'. Any genuine uprisings would not end well. Shut up and eat the bugs, user.
when i think about it, it just reminds me how alone I am. I haven't felt a genuine human connection in a long time.
Which one of them?
BLM got things done though.
Burning down and looting stores is hardly "getting things done".
Human connection has been outlawed. There's a pandemic.
Not good things.
They got nothing done, blacks are pawns
You think AAA and indie devs are trying to pacify you? What would happen if you were let loose like an animal being released from its cage, user? Would you be a threat to the system if you revolted? I didn't think so either, stinker
What did they even want done outside venting anger?
But I do the Volt
You mean that thing supported by mcdonalds, facebook, apple and the rest of corporate america?
I don't actually buy games
Yes and I'm occasionally manically depressed because of it. I'm not just talking about gaming, if you catch my drift.
whenever i try to talk to people who seem to still desire a human connection, they obsess over their jobs. It is like they are proud of their servitude. They don't understand how bad they are getting ripped off.
If you were a factory worker in america, to be making now what you made in 1950 relative to how much you pay for rent, you'd have to be paid 120k dollars a year.
I just can't deal with people who are unable to work for their own interests. They have this attitude like they belong to their community, when in fact they are just servants of the upper class, providing them with services and luxory while they live in spiritual poverty.
>just about every corporation, media outlet, and politician is literally genuflecting to you
>"We're rebels!"
more than anything, people want to feel like their lives matter. but they aren't willing to make the sacrifices to bring meaning into their lives.
Nixon unironically had a hard life and things didn't get good for him until his late 30s
>Quite peaceful society
Name one
Detroit
ah, damn, thats the wrong clip. there is one where he says that ultimately it is better to try to do something meaninful, even if, ultimately, you fail.
well edward bernays was right about us so they better start making some better games or the happiness machines are going to turn into something else and already have started to maybe they don't see it
its weird how sometimes you can do everything right and people still hate you for it. I think, had I been in Nixon's place, I would have done the same thing.
i don't have anything against capitalism. i think its great that a man can work hard, improve his station in life, and not be at the mercy of his circumstances. But when you can just print more money and give it to all your rich friends, no matter how much money you make, you money will be worth exactly as much as it was before.
no, because I don't wear tinfoil hats
That's all industries, bro, welcome to capitalism
and thats exactly what socialism is
.
Free money, free housing, free healthcare, free everything, without the slightest idea of how they are going to provide those services or the impact it will have on the economy.
if you make something or provide a service, one which people enjoy and use, then you should get paid for it. You shouldn't have to rely on donations and donations from private parties, if people want what you to continue to provide things for them, they should be willing to pay for it.
define support
Yes, that's why I pirate everything
>you shouldn't have to rely on donations
you shouldn't have to rely on charity
>people erroneously think it's about capitalism
>it's actually about the technological system -- which is not exclusive to capitalism, before a dunce replies; communism worships technology, as well
A bomb is coming your way.
