Are they building their own third party joycons to sell or are they just buying Nintendo brand joycons and reskinning them? If it's the latter, Nintendo is in the legal right. They can't stop third party controller production but you can't buy their controllers and sell them as your own unique product.

Every third party thing you see that works with Nintendo stuff (outside of bootleg china bullshit nobody can ever stop) pays a fee to Nintendo for the privilege to sell to 'tendies.
