How do I avoid cloudy rice? It's the one ailment I can't figure out how to fix.
Sakuna thread
That specific Sakuna image is giving off little turd vibes.
Is salt damage to soil cumulative or does it reset every year?
Starts the moment you start drying your rice.
Cloudy has to do with it not being ripe enough when harvested
Wait a bit longer before harvesting it
I have only ever noticed cloudy rice start to build up once the rice is on the drying rack. As far as I can tell, it doesn't stop until you finish hulling. Someone in a previous thread said Japanese players had figured out there were some conditions that influenced it during growth, but that the bar only started to fill based on those previous conditions when you started drying. I don't know if I believe that, though.
Harvest at the right time so you can wait for 6 hours to get that perfect 75-80% dryness for max stat gains to finish threshing and hulling at night time with no delay.
Should I use all my powder in fertlizer?
Yes, but not all at once.
So someone in the last thread said vinegar is supposed to go in your fertilizer but the game won't let me add it. Anyone else playing the switch version and can add it to their fertilizer?
All I can think about is Nomura's horrible redesign.
You definitely can, but I'm on PC.
I think it resets over winter.
Says my rice is overripe at the finish screen, and cloudy. Must be another trigger as well.
I sorted with salt, did about 80 percent because I didn't want to lose as many seeds as 100 percent did. Got a small amount of salt damage, but I assumed it was coming and I threw some spring water into my next couple fertilizers, salt damage never went past something like 10-15%, why do I keep seeing complaints about salt damage?
I have more trouble getting enough spiders to stop fucking straight swift larva.
>why do I keep seeing complaints about salt damage?
Because people do this.
Cloudy starts the second you begin drying, I think it's based on how long it takes to go from drying to processed. Pray for dryness right before you plan to dry seems to help.
I could also be wrong and it was all coincidence.
This game is some strong spider propaganda. Spiders only come out on sunny days right?
After rainy days for sure.
I'm starting to wonder if drying rice in hot conditions might actually cause cloudy rice. I need to remember to try and dry it in average temp conditions on my next harvest.
what's the point of ducks?
all they seem to do is guarantee you get fucked by the larvae since they eat spiders
Raises your aesthetics.
You can also reduce straight swift larva with remedies. Ducks do a hell of a job reducing weeds. I use them until spiders spawn.
I've tried dumping eradicating remedies and pesticide boosting shit and it didn't affect the larvae at all
Can I hull on day if the temperature is low? or it had to be on night always?
Am I the only person that fills my field with 6-10% water and leaves both gates open over winter?
I like to imagine I'm washing the impurities from the soil.
you're probably leeching nutrients
You'd think so, but...
>plus 108 luck from one harvest
God damn.
Is there any way to stop the youre not full notification?
Finished the festil, it made remember this kino moment, I still tear up when i see it again, such a good scene in the game:
