Get Mk II belts

>get Mk II belts
>have to redesign factory
>get Miner Mk II
>have to redesign factory
>get alternate recipes
>have to redesign factory
>biomass
>120 ore/mn miner but 45/mn to process them
>load balancing
>can't underclock based on the input
>every machine is massive, making building a hassle
>coal is 1.5km from spawn
>need it both for power and making steel
>also need water
>if you get a power outage by this point good luck to jumpstart the system

Love the game but damn it's really frustrating to know everything you build will have to be entirely rebuilt from the ground up after unlocking better belts/miners/recipes/trains

There are enough nodes for you to start new lines without touching the old busted ones.

But I want to be efficient

Being efficient would be not wasting time on your old factories

I felt the opposite about it, I looked forward to wiping my base when I hit new tiers. But I can also see why it would get annoying for others. Personally I’ll remake entire sections just to bring up the aesthetics of it.

My biggest gripe is not being able to run power plants at 100% efficiency. You always get oddball resource requirements and water pumps constantly turning off and on.

Never delete.

that is the nature of efficiency. the whole point is you build your stuff better and better and better and better

this still egs exclusive?

no, that expired awhile ago

nothing satisfactory about this pic

I want to like this game but holy fuck is the building tedious. Whenever I realize I need to scale a line up, I groan and quit, and I don't think that's the intended reaction.

dude, construct copper wire on site.

>coal is 1.5km from spawn
your power is always going to be far away, and the fun is connecting together all your factories all over the map. power lines make great markers for all the natural roadways for driving around anyways. you will have enormous powerplants all over the map to generate literally thousands of gigawatts.

This. All they need to do is add a click/drag-to-build and a blueprint function.

playing the game like factorio is only going to give a you a headache. think vertically instead.

This
>so much manual labor
>hit a point around 40 hours where I'm just not having fun anymore
>Haven't touched it since then
Maybe I came in with expectations too high from playing factorio. Automating shit in this game didn't feel satisfying at all for me.

I mean, as long as the factories are efficient, it's not like you're losing anything. They're just operating at a lower volume than your newer shit.

No

what do you mean? belts can be upgraded on the spot without having to delete it and then putting down the upgraded parts.

also, have multiple factories. that way you dont have to constantly rebuilt everything.

>Female Protagonist
Nah

>not a man all alone with a stuffed shirt and pants
you really don't know what's under there...

but she's hot, wide af hips

>you really don't know what's under there...
fat tits
wide hips
thicc thighs
when the game is done, the ending is going to be that the architect himself runs ficsit

i dont usually shill youtubers but i find this guy playing satisfactory entertaining.

i've learned some tricks but it's still annoying spending 30 minutes setting up some smelting especially if you're trying to go for compact designs

let game it out is pretty based in general.

>Resources never run out
>nothing ever attacks
>as long as you have machine A connected to Machine B you will always get what you need, merely a matter of time.
So, like, it's an idle game?

Can you not build busses and scale off of them like in Factorio?

Belt speed is atrociously low for that. It may work for components more complex than screws/rods/wires, but the base stuff is too densely produced to be centralized in one place

They need to change how hard drives work for alt recipies. The more tiers you unlock makes the recipe pool bigger and lowers you chance of getting the recipie you want.
