Agility is my highest stat. It doesn't help. I did use a scroll of divine intervention but that didn't help either. It just brought me to a temple where they wouldn't do anything for me unless I joined, and even once I joined they wouldn't do anything for me. The solution ended up being to buy about 10 different expensive strength restoration potions which drained nearly my entire wallet and were only enough to last like 2 encounters with one of those guys, and then go buy a strength restoration spell that I could only successfully cast 10% of the time.

It's not cheating to fix a broken spell. They're supposed to curse the player. That's not supposed to stack like it does in the game.

You cheese stuff with game's own rules, with tools you figure out inside the game. If you succumb to modifying certain challenging parts out it's a very slippery slope you do it again with some other thing, and again and again. And then your experience is ruined.

I bought Morrowind long time ago, then at some point I installed it. First time when I meet drain disease, I just started mixing potions in hope for cure, fun times.

I cant quite remember but I recall their debuff is a ranged attack. My solution to any encounter with ranged magic users is to simply alternate between pressing A and D which abuses the AI poorly implemented aimbot to miss wildly because they are aiming where you would go if you continued moving in that direction. Once they run out of mana, you could move in to attack.
