Games are shit...

Games are shit. There are fewer developers making fewer games and the ones they do make are lower quality and nickel and dime you more and the new generation doesn't have the slightest pretense of offering new experiences. I thought this would feel bad but I'm actually enjoying the shit show.

How do you feel about the sorry state of gaming?

dunno I'm having fun
post more azn cuties

Then stop playing only AAA games retard

I actually haven't played a game in about 2 weeks, and it feels fine, I've cleared my backlog. I even have 2 games in mind I would play if I started again

but for the future? yikes. gaming aint for me anymore, like marketing wise.

AA games don't exist. Name 10 good indie games from the last year.

Maybe its time to get a new hobby anone. The best hobbies for man are chess, bullfighting or fishing.

>Chess
literally the highest burn-out rate in all of hobbies my dude lol
>Bullfighting
I enjoy my intestines inside my body
>Fishing
this
this is actually a good suggestion, you even get to feed yourself at the same time.

What are you playing then, user?
Enlighten us to all those hidden gems because I haven’t touched a AAA game in years and I’m sitting with my dick in my hand all night because I have nothing to play.

I'm learning guitar. It's really satisfying and fun. I recommend an instrument to anyone.

I came to accept it and simply go back to older games instead, while waiting for the very, very few new games which are still worth looking forward to.

Yeah the industry is in the shithole. Wouldn't be surprised if the people in this thread telling you otherwise aren't shills for new video games

besides string faggotry what other instruments are worth learning?

>How do you feel about the sorry state of gaming?
I dont disagree with you but
>doesn't have the slightest pretense of offering new experiences.
New experiences, while can be refreshing, are not at all needed to have an entertaining game, perhaps its necessary for a healthy industry, but there are so many other bigger problems like the others you mentioned that i rather them be solved first.

Overall i feel that games nowadays have far more content then when i used to be a kid during the snes/genesis days so a single good game can last me for months, it also helps being older and having less free time then when i was a little lad. 2020 for was basically just playing nioh2 and some smaller shorter indie games.

So in the end im fine, yeah shit sucks but i can still get by.

Pretty eyes

>he doesn't main the Tuba

AA game development is long dead. There are many good indie games but the current situation is no acceptable.

can you people just stop browsing Zig Forums and play the games you actually enjoy, while just not playing the ones you don't like and move on?

How do you assign worth to learning an instrument? You either want to play it or you don't. The only objective measure of value is money making opportunities which is a shitty reason to learn and you're better off not learning anything at all since modern music doesn't use them.

Why? The criticism is that there is not enough games they enjoy being made which is completely on topic and a valid criticism. People don't want to play nothing but 10 year old games forever.

Is this a Jannie? Are you mad that people don't like the games you get paid to shill for?

>why are you 14 yo retards don't act like grown ups
gee I wonder

>being grown up is just shutting up an putting up with whatever garbage is around you, finding a hole to crawl into and staying quiet.
You are no different from livestock.

everything here is reddit tier criticism
No, I'm just mad all threads are the same
>why are you here then
there are some good threads from time to time about theories or general stuff, but the criticism threads are god awful

Yes, being grown up is realizing that spending time fighting windmills is retarded. But you rather cry like a little bitch on anonymous forum, because that is the extend of your great fight.

>fighting windmills
Lmao yeah, livestock indeed, i wont lie im no better but your "being adult" is basically just giving up on humanity and keeping your head down to "live".

>Everything I don't like is Reddit
If anything is Reddit it's keeping up with trends for le up boats.

>Games are shit.
No, you're shit. There are tons of great games to play right now, but you choose to blog anonymously like a loser.

>Threads are the same
>One thread complaining about the state of the industry
>Jannies don't prune 6 cyberpunk shill threads
You're fucking pathetic

You should pick up bird watching

Kek, you can't sound more underage than that.

>How do you feel about the sorry state of gaming?
You know how the AVGN is a big gamer only for games from his era, and now new games just don't appeal to him at all?
I've reached that point. I just look at any new game and I just hate how they look.
It's double weird since I'm only 18, turned last August. I really like the looks of the PS3 and 360 era, with the more subdued color pallets and realism without actually looking super realistic. And now both the cartoony and the super realistic graphics of new games are completely not interesting for me.

I still play games, even some new ones if their like niche indie games. I can also get down to playing old games. I played Princess Maker2 a while ago and that was fun.
