Did you miss just how messy the Hitman 2 reactivation was? Only one of the seasons got a rerun and H2 had barely any per location.
I honestly hope they just do away with the entire system, it's not that fun and only makes people miss out on content.

Its also against the spirit of Hitman, which is about replayability and expirementation. Elusive targets should be challenge missions where you can't save, but you should be able to replay them as many times as you want. Or fuck, at least let us replay them with no rewards. Some of them are pretty fun.

If anything being to late will mean you lose a very specific skin for completing X silent assasinations on elusive targets, not the end of the world.
For me that little risk doesn't make worthy downloading and buying a game in ES, spliting my collection and having another fucking launcher more, being also a terrible one.
I used to be like you, always pending on the last new and in not missing any oportunity or reward in a game. I recommend you to look at games in a much more casual way and simple enjoying it and getting through FOMO, you will enjoy it way more andwill also get much better deals.

Haven't realised the didn't fullfill the 2nd run. But yeah indeed, I remember it was a bit of a rush and messy. Hope they gonna do it properly knowing a lot of people would be piss off and consider not getting the game (or at least at steam launch) if the fuck around with it.

This temporary elussive targets totally fuck out the game charm, to have a lot of possibilities and replability to play as an assasins in different sittuations, it will be kino the do something like it at the end of the game, wouldn't hope for it though.

I also hate it because the nature of it actively disincentivizes appreciating the hard work that the devs put into making them.

I really hope we can mod first person in now through ini hacks or some other way. First person was my preferred way to play BM.

I respect your position but it just bugs me when I know I will never be able to get 100% on a game I've invested a significant amount of time into from the start. It's something that even bothers me slightly with exclusive pre-order bonus weapons and stuff of that sort.
Only thing I'm missing right now is the ICA Performance Coin from Season 1 and I still remember it.

I have no hope whatsoever of them fixing that. Challenge tracking and menus being really barren offline is part of their built-in DRM, and the inventory bloat gives the player the illusion of there being much more than there really is. Making an actually efficient, elegant menu system that lets you select gear quickly, and pilling up clone items as skins would dispel that illusion

Yes, H3 will contain everything, and IIRC there was mention of your Steam purchases or save file being carried over, possibly through an IOI account
