Can you fly capitals/big ships in old Elite? It triggers me why they don't add something bigger than normal ship. If not capitals but corvette/frigate/cruiser whatever. It is good addition. More diverse combat

While I have hundreds of hours in this game and truthfully enjoy it I sincerely doubt that FDev can produce anything more than the most polished turn in the shit pile.
Since their announcement of an announcement was just clips of things players did that are not actually parts of the game using 3rd party tools that FDev does not support and have actively fought back against adding for 6 years in order to appease forum dads, and their last two major content updates (Horizons and Carriers) were heavily delayed, brought nothing besides more endless grinds, were delivered half baked and stripped of any fun ideas and mechanics, and rapidly abandoned, I have literally zero hope for whatever announcement they're making in 2 days. If their track record is anything to go by it wont be anything more than half baked ideas that will be hamstrung well before release then forgotten unless someone finds a way to have fun with it (at which point it will be nerfed to hell like everything else).
I hope I'm wrong but I sincerely doubt that FDev just suddenly woke up and decided to use this game as more than a mtx shop to fund its Planet series.
