Does Zig Forums like VIDEO GAMES Jeopardy? >This time with teams.
>How do I play? First you pick a team. Ideally save it in the namefield
>The basics A clue is posted. Reply to that post with the answer, and make SURE to include your team >(A good idea is to put your team in the namefield so it sticks to all your posts) If I can tell what team it is feel free to be creative (ie. "the red dragon" to represent team red)
>How it works 1. A clue is posted. 2. You reply to THAT post with the answer. 3. Make sure to include your team in the post or the namefield Feel free to be creative, but make sure your team is clearly identifiable (ie. in a game of red vs blue, "the red dragon" to represent team red is fine, but "the dragon" is not because dragons can also be blue)
>I don't want a team That's fine, just leave the namefield blank and feel free to participate just for fun, but only a team-affiliated answer will be acknowledged today.
POSTS THAT >DO NOT have a team name >DO NOT directly reply to the clue card (or a hint post) Have a team name that's too vague will not be counted The first team to get it right receives the points. I will then post an updated score, and an updated game board.
More details in the next post.
Also Feel free to chime in when you arrive to bump the thread so others can find it, and so you can save your team to the name field.
>What are those weird gray locks? Gray locks are there to keep people from cheesing the game. They'll unlock once two other clues from that category have been called.
>What about the weird green locks? Green locks are time-locked because it's a very special category for which there should be more people present before we do, so give it a few minutes before that opens up.
FAQ >Daily Double The way daily doubles will work in this game is simply DOUBLING OF THE CLUE'S SCORE. (ie. 300 becomes 600)
>"What is" and formatting Formatting is not required. Some clues don't follow standard format either.
>What if the clue is TOO HARD? After some time a big hint will be given, which reduces the clue's score by 200 (min score is 100). A few minutes after that and the clue is skipped altogether (but the answer will be revealed)
>Final Jeopardy Final Jeopardy will be explained later
>You messed up / missed a correct answer Please let me know if this happens
Brief intermission before we start. Feel free to ask questions.

Ah, I usually explain what the categories were at the end of the game for those curious. I like to let people figure that out as the game progresses on their own.
That's locked under a gray lock, my friend. Rules are explained in the first two posts. Also, you should include a team name in the name field if you want to play with a team, but it's totally optional.
>I don't trust files on Zig Forums Understandable. Just stick around for the other categories and let your teammates handle that one.
>How it works The zip contains other small zips, each of which is password protected. When a clue is called, it will contain the password to that specific zip. Unlock the zip and listen to the audio file inside to answer the clue.
