That said, yes Makoto is pretty good. She's the best kind of mom figure, in that she's stern and motherly with those who need it, like Futaba (and the rest of the team to a lesser extent) but is cute and vulnerable with you.

Royal is the best enhanced version that Atlus has done so far. It's better than what Golden did.

P5 is the only game where I played both the original and the re-release, and Royal is fantastic. There are so many little touches that every day feels like it has something new. Even Mementos has a little bit of freshness added to it, thanks to the addition of collecting flowers and stamps.

Absolutely nothing. Royal is the best Persona game by far and one of the best SMT games overall.

-inconsistent writing
-1 dungeon is really shitty and comprises of cut n paste corridors in cardinal directions
-demon negotiation is a crap shoot
-some shit grammar in an otherwise good localization. They fucked up the expression "when worse comes to worst" multiple times

P5 Strikers, the shitty musou game that is also P5's direct sequel and will spoil a lot of shit from the original game, won't sell a billion copies on PC and Atlus will use that as an excuse to stop porting anything to PC.
