What are your hopes for Spyro 4?

I want to suck on a dragon's tongue.

Why is it that Activision's new installments in Crash and Spyro just don't feel right to me? It's definitely not nostalgia, I still get really excited for new Mario and Ratchet games, it's something else.
I feel like they're somehow directionless or something? Like I'm not really expecting an overarching story or anything but it feels like they're just business decisions, more than other modern games. Idk something just feels off to me somehow.

THAT SAID I did not play the 2016 Ratchet and Clank game since I heard it was really really bad, but the new one looked cool from what I saw

I dont remember the others being harder apart from a few mini-games, mainly the ones involving Hunter. Even then shit like Tree Tops is at the same difficulty.

Just finished Reignited. Is it weird that Gulp was the single hardest thing in the trilogy, BY FAR? Was it this over tuned in the OG?

I bought the Reignited Trilogy a year ago and managed to 100% the first game, which I'd never gotten to do as a kid. That was satisfying. Sadly, Ripto's Rage had a lot of backtracking and I have grown to HATE that.

Insomniac did say at one point that female Lombaxes don't have tales.

I think it's an alternate universe thing.

Each game is like 10-15 hours to 100%, but they're all essentially the same thing so it's easy to burn out. I was the same, got the game in that amazing Humble Bundle a year ago, beat 1, started 2 and dropped it shortly thereafter. Came back to the game a couple weeks back and finished both 2 and 3.

That they drop the Fortnite-like look of Reignited and go for a look thats along the lines of the original's aesthetic

Nah the Gulp fight is pretty hard. It was hard in the originals too, but i think the reignited version is harder.

It's fascinating how T4B utterly shat on Spyro's artstyle but somehow rescued Crash from VV's ugly ass uncanny style.

I always thought that writing on the walls of Summer Forest looked like the Precursor script from Jak and Daxter. I don't think it says anything though.
