Anyone else feel depressed when you find go to a smaller streamers channel and they have maybe 50 views and their own little community and they try so hard to make it but you know they never will...Its just so sad.

it's so sad wahh ;w; i'm gonna cry someone hug me. ...

50-200 viewers is peak fun. It's not a job at that point, it's just a hobby. It reminds me of back in the day with Livestream, when you didn't use a "live streamers" browser and just did private streams among friends.

*hugs him*

Do you need to be interesting or cute to have a few followers?

Maybe try being a man and realise as long you follow god this earth shit doesnt matter in the bigger picture?

I honestly find you sadder believing that people should stream for viewers and money and not because of small communities events and recording fun sessions with other people

You strike me as the same type of retard who despise this realization will still inadvertently bash twitch whores who do everything in their power to boost the viewer ratings and fail to realize the dynamic of viewers =/= content

only when they're the type of person that is trying to turn streaming into a full-time job. Most people that get those numbers are quite level-headed and do it as a hobby.

I stream to my friend group but using discord do i count as a streamer?

I get 0 viewers when I stream.

no, that's what streaming was supposed to be like. now it's all about giving millionaires money on stream so they can laugh at you off stream.

>watching other people play games

I get what you mean, And I honestly am conflicted, on one hand wanting those smaller streamers to have success and on the other knowing that success ruins the fun of it.
I guess I AM ruined by being part of large communities instead of sticking to smaller once and not jumping the gun for FOTM bs.
My brain doesn't like doing things at 3 am in the morning thanks for the concern though.

29 viewers is more than 99% of streams.

That's literally how Youtube originally was, just a bunch of anybodies uploading anything they want to share for whoever, not for fame, but just for fun.

Fuck you, OP.
You're part of the problem.

You are right I am. I disregard small streams and Its not ok.

f.

>get zero viewers during a 5 hour stream
>don't want to talk to absolutely nobody
>if I don't talk nobody will ever stay during the stream
>content overall is probably not interesting enough because I only stream things I like

Oh well, streaming is nothing for me anyway. I once got "lucky" and streamed a game I liked when it was starting to become a bit popular and got around 1k viewers, but then other streamers of that game got envious or something and literally made youtube videos talking about how I was viewbotting. At that point it was not fun anymore so I didn't stream anymore for a while, and I kept none of the audience retention for when I came back, once again only streaming stuff I personally was interested in.

Just watched Gura with 25,000 viewers. She was terrible at apex.

You're obviously a child who doesn't understand that failure is simply apart of life. For you to be going through the "aww I feel bad for him" phase of your life proves that. So they won't get filthy rich and famous for a extremely low effort task, and this makes you sad why exactly?

You need to be over the age of 18 to post on Zig Forums user.

Objectively, knowing 30 people would be watching you and interacting with you energetically, knowing they'll actually have your attention? I'd take it over 10,000 people watching me in a clinical, detached TV show format. Viewcounts are the death of the soul.

>why exactly
Yeah I try to understand that too. I think I feel liek I betrayed the person cause I gave them a sub/follow and instead watch others who dont need my view.
I am naive that is true though

Amelia is better i think? maybe you should try watching her play apex

holy shit I hate people so much

You should never stream to make money. Just stream to start and maintain a community.

I cant watch big streamers, or enter big communities. They dont feel right.

I'd rather have a small community with a readable chat than the shit you see on bigger streams.

i streamed for like 6 hours yesterday and had 1 viewer/chatter for half of it, had a good time too cuz i would've played the same game regardless of the stream anyway. Having 30 ish viewers is pretty good, it's enough to have a lot of fun with the chat, i'd love it. If they are really just in it to "make it" and turn it into a source of income then yeah that's pretty sad

FGC streamers are the best. You get a couple hundred people actually into the genre and the streamers themselves respond to people because they like to teach and give advice. Floe and LI Joe streams are some of my favorites

Me too homie, although today some rando jumped in, said "pog" and followed me, then left immediately. So I got that going for me.

I would stream to 0 people if my upload wasn't balls
no camera or mic though and I'd completely ignore chat

Everyone says this until you see the money that top streamers are making

I used to feel that way until I started watching amateur vtubers. It's a lot easier to let loose and enjoy the interactive nature of streaming when you have small audience around 100 viewers or so. I imagine people who actually have facecam and shit on are probably a little nervous or awkward though.

honestly I just have fun streaming, and 20ish people is extremely enjoyably to me; it allows me to keep up with the discussion at hand while I play

I thought 50 views was pretty good, and you can't say they'll never make it(you don't need 10k viewers to get a career, most probably don't have their aims so high). If you start streaming now you're not at all guaranteed to get even 50 views.

i only watch 0 viewers cause otherwise its too much competition

>She was terrible at apex.
of course, it's a squad based game so girl streamers can get carried by 2 dudes that have played for a decade each while she started playing yesterday for a streaming career.

HELL NO demo sempai would not get away doing what he does on streams if he was more popular

narcissist. Vidya is trash, gaming is dead. Imagine making drones watch you play trash while making money off them. You are going to hell, riendo.
